Well, that makes my rant seem even minier - stupid Yahoo won’t let me compose any emails at the moment for God only knows what stupid reason, and I need to send an email to our real estate agent to look at some houses later this week when we’re in another city. Bah.
Originally put this in wrong feckin thread. Fuckty fuck
Two year aniversary yesterday. Or today. Or tomorrow. See I dont really know as I was such a mess at the time and after a nearly a week in hospital where my coping mechanism was to stay asleep and the fact there is no damn way I’m going to investigate to find out exactly. So end of march start of April it is. I wish I wasnt so fucking obsessive about it thoughl am so fuking useless. Of course i have cried so much now my sinuses ar full of crap. All because one stain on the undies of humanity decided that his need to fulfill his violent porn fantasy was greater than my need for him to not.
So I tried to use Yahoo Mail on my desktop rather than my laptop, to be met with an error message that Safari doesn’t work on that computer anymore since I did updates. After I downloaded and uploaded and started running Firefox on my desktop, I was finally able to send the email. Gah. I’m coming around to the reality that my desktop needs replacing and the new and improved Yahoo Mail is a rampant piece of shit.
Hey! Hey! Hey! We need a name for the new mini-rants thread tomorrow!
I vote for, “This Weather Sucks And Spring Is Never Going To Come And I Hate Everybody And Everything - April Mini-Rants.”
I’m freezing and I second that one. I see no lamb accompanying this lousy, ice cold March out the damned door.
How about a classic?
madrabbitwoman got there first.
In that vein, I was going to suggest “April is the rantiest month.” But, too late.
So as not to be too late for the next month, I’m going to suggest this now: “May I have this rant?”
So Mozilla has hired homophobe Brandon Eich as their CEO? I guess I’ll be going back to Chrome.
So Mozilla has fired homophobe Brandon Eich as their CEO. I guess you won’t.
This thread is March; April is over here.
I think that’s odd. There must be thousands of companies that have CEOs and Executives whose views I don’t agree with, who support things I think are wrong or bad. I couldn’t possibly boycott every one of those, I’d not be able to function in society I’d be missing out on so much.
What was the big deal about one guy who supported one thing many years ago that was somewhat controversial? Why the hell should we care that much?
