His prediction is still solidly for Hillary, because it’s too soon to know if this is a bounce or a trend.

I suspect it’s a bounce, not a trend, and what’s more, that it will be more than offset by Hillary’s own likely bounce coming out of Philadelphia (barring a DWS/Sanderista catastrophe).

It sure hasn’t looked good just outside the convention, with Pelosi getting booed by Sanders supporters and Sanders supporters outside the venue chanting “Lock her up”.

Looks like a pretty decent portion of Sanders supporters are not going to be there for the party. Nate Silver concurs in an article today.

What’s more, according to 538, the protest crowds are bigger outside the Dem convention than the GOP convention:

Doesn’t matter what goes on inside if outside it turns into 1968.

You know, there’s a thread on the Democratic Convention. This one is for discussing that dismal affair in Cleveland. I can see why you want to change the subject. As usual.

I was trying to think who the keynote speaker was. Did they just not have one?

Responding to the post right before mine. I do not expect a discussion on the DNC here, so I’m glad you don’t want to talk about it.

adaher, you’ve already said before that you’ll be voting for Hillary, but still you just cannot stop yourself from speaking doom and gloom about the Democrats.

Given his track record, it gives me great hope.
