The Republican Party is the Party of Evil

Right. And there’s no doubt in any rational person’s mind what she would’ve said had the culprit in this instance been other than white republican cultist magatoflatearther.

I actually have sympathy for anyone that struggles with mental health issues, even Trump supporters.

But fuck Republicans. They’re happy to abuse people with mental health issues all day long, most notably the flagrant financial abuse of their donation solicitation process, which targets the people that can least afford it with false or misleading appeals.

Then there’s the weird gaslighting thing they do where they pretend the crazies among them are normal, in some bizarre attempt to pwn the libs……like when they refer to Guiliani as America’s mayor and a brilliant non-alcoholic attorney whose been unfairly portrayed by the liberal media as an incompetent incontinent buffoon with a serious alcohol problem.

Sometimes I’ll get a rare flash of empathy and actually feel sorry for Guiliani for a few seconds, because his epic destruction has been enabled by people that claim to be his friends (including his son), who obviously don’t care about him at all, because if they did they’d push him to get help instead of self-servingly propping him up -both literally and figuratively.

And January 6th was a mass abuse event of people with mental problems, orchestrated by not just Trump but the Republican machine. Republicans suck.

Right. The whole fiasco with Trump as president, escpecially with his reich-leaning, reminded me so much of Star Trek’s Patterns of Force. Trump is exactly like John Gill, but in Trump’s case, the drug is simply his vanity.

It is 2023.

US scumbags still not embarrassed by their illegal torture camp.

No, it should be closed, but if not it might as well put it to use against those who think it’s great idea.

It’s so run-of-the-mill evil I wasn’t sure where else to share it. The governor of Nebraska dismisses a reporter’s story on his farm because she’s from China. Pretty par for the course, it seems. Here’s hoping he can be kicked out when election time rolls around.

Republicans vow to take money away from seniors.

Republicans confess attack on Social Security and Medicare is a top priority

In the midst of the second vote on U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan’s nomination to be the next House Speaker on Wednesday, one right-wing lawmaker cut through the Republican infighting to remind his fellow GOP members of the common goal they share: cutting programs that millions of Americans rely on to obtain healthcare and afford their day-to-day expenses.

But don’t worry. They’ll spend that stolen money on hundreds of billions of dollars of military spending in their districts.

And tax cuts for corporations and the ultra-wealthy. Their ultimate goal is a country of warlords and serfs, with no opposition.

that will harm people who show up regularly to Trump rallies. Then they will find a way to blame their plight on librul policies.

South China Morning Post isn’t from Communist China. It’s from a non-communist part of the country: Hong Kong.

Since when is any part of China communist? They’re the most capitalist country in the world!

No kidding! I work in Beijing at a school that is purportedly an international school. The follow a foreign curriculum, but all of the students are Chinese. Their parents are quite rich. You should see the bling the students have!

Well, well, well! It seems the “Don’t Say Gay” guy is going to prison for his theft of pandemic funds.

Former Florida lawmaker who sponsored ‘Don’t Say Gay’ sentenced to prison for COVID-19 relief fraud

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — The former Florida lawmaker who sponsored the controversial law critics call “Don’t Say Gay” was sentenced to six months in federal prison Thursday for defrauding a federal coronavirus relief loan program for small businesses.

Former state Rep. Joe Harding, a 36-year-old Republican, resigned in December after being charged with fraudulently obtaining more than $150,000 from the Small Business Administration in pandemic aid loans. He pleaded guilty in March to wire fraud, money laundering and making false statements in connection with COVID-19 relief fraud.

“The theft of any amount of taxpayer funds is inexcusable,” said U.S. Attorney Jason Coody in a news release. “However, the defendant’s deceptive acts of diverting emergency financial assistance from small businesses during the pandemic is simply beyond the pale."

I know it’s old news to many, but this article about the concerted efforts to rework maps just horrified me with their single-mindedness to keep power and cut people out of democracy.

Nothing to see here, Citizen. Move along. Move along.

Trump declares he would not defend NATO countries if they were invaded by Russia:

Another case of ‘Every accusation is a confession.’

Strange wording in the article. He was charged with traveling to Europe to rape a minor between 2011 and 2016. Does that mean he lived there for five years? That he traveled there repeatedly for five years? And in five years of “attempted” did he actually do it? Details, damn it!

The fact that he’s a retired school counselor is concerning. Also, this sounds like laying the ground for some kind of legal defense: “Holmberg announced in March 2022 he wouldn’t seek reelection. He cited stress and “a weakened ability to concentrate on the matters at hand and effectively recall events” before ultimately resigning.

My wife informs me that he was, in fact, her high school guidance counselor.
