Did anybody else watch this? It stars Parker Posey and that Lauren Ambrose of Six Feet Under as an infertile children’s book editor and her black sheep younger sister/surrogate. It looks like it could be interesting. Oh, and is it just me or did Sarah move in the middle of the pilot episdoe? 
We were wondering if she ‘moved’ too! To me, it seems vaguely familiar - like Gilmore Girls with a laugh track. It even has Scott Cohen who played Max on GG and a few other movies/shows.
To me it seemed like The Odd Couple with a uterus.
It also had the woman who played Gypsy on GG, as the pregnant lady.
If they would just lose that damn laugh track it would be a lot funnier. When someone is telling me to laugh I am least likely to do so.
Also, I really don’t like Scott Cohen aka Max aka Marcus for some reason. He’s always rubbed me the wrong way.
But Parker Posey and Lauren Ambrose are both pretty awesome, so I’m hoping this show will get a bit better once the plot gets rolling.
I’m a big big big Gilmore Girls fan, so I’d really like this show to be good.
I liked the show, but for the wrong reasons. I did hate the laugh track. I would have kept watching, except the show has just been cancelled.
It’s not as if Fox gave it a chance, burying it on Friday night.
I hadn’t completely warmed up to the show, but Parker Posey is always interesting.
