Post 1000.
::whistles::
Hey guys! (and gals) it’s everybody-poke-fun-at-**2gig **time!! (since he’ll try to avoid rolling over the post counter for a while… :p)
I could dress it in a black cat onesie and call myself a witch
LM has strep throat and stayed home from de-heathenization with the** hubs** today. He looked awful this morning but after some Motrin and some antibiotics he is playing contentedly on the living room floor with his toys. I wish I recovered from being sick as quickly as my kids do! He is still going to have to stay home with me on Mundae, but he should be well enough to go back to day care on Tuesday.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - I make good soup! And I’ve got a mega-big pot of the stuff, so I’ve got lunches for the week, and I intend to freeze at least one meal’s worth. Meanwhile, I’m stuffded!!
I also discovered that I need to replenish my pantry. Wish I’d known that when I was at the store today. Oh well…
Tablecloth? At Three Squares Diner? It is to laugh! They do however have paper napkin dispensers at each booth because they want their customers to be dainty. I went with the classic hamburger steak. It’s like a speciality and, well, one just cannot go wrong with a fine dinin’ establishment’s specialty now can one?
Tomorrow night is men’s night over to the church house. Thus, steaks are marinatin’ and beer is chillin’. Tomorrow night’s dindin is made!
Tonight’s munching is from the church BBQ plate. It’s really, to me as a white midwesterner, just pot roast, but I love it. And it’s delicious!! The cats think so too, lol. The dog doesn’t know 'cause he just swallows everything whole. And what with the poop-eating, I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have any taste buds anyway.
And pumpkin pie for dessert!!
And I’m out for the week - Who’s gonna start us tomorrow?? Don’t all rush to volunteer!!!
The next poster starts tomorrow’s MMP. Let’s see what happens.
I’ll do it
Wow, da bear predicted the future!
Have spent most of the day lounging, watching stuff online and knitting.
Did anyone else watch the skydive? That was awesome. The most impressive shot was one where you saw what he was seeing just before he jumped.
Off to sleep soon, hoping for at least a little bit of a voice in the morning.
Looking forward to Apes’s P.
Hugs all.
GT
I always break out in a cold sweat when I watch anything to do with heights or falling from heights. So I would have missed that **GT **if I had known it was on! I esp hate those Imax movies which zoom the camera through canyons or other dizzying heights. I once froze looking over the edge and my legs literally couldn’t move themselves and had to be physically picked up moved from the observation deck at the Sears Tower by my friends and a school chaperone. I also had to crawl on all fours after getting half way across a suspension swinging bridge at Rock City and my “friends” thought it would be funny to starting jumping on the bride to shake it and watch me melt to the floor in a puddle of tears and regret. I am a wuss, LOL
Those are your* friends?*
Swampy, about this predicting the future thing…there’s an equine racetrack over here in Hot Springs, Oaklawn Park…let’s talk.
Ahh a night of texts, either manic or alcohol induced, has been lighting up my phone tonight. I honestly think I will continue to get crap until one of us is dead.
Hey, you figured out the future just fine with Tammy(? I forget her name) and your new calendar, so why sweat it?
No, that is why I quotey marked them,
There were no odds on that, my friend.
Some cool airplanes, though, a B-25 and a P-38.
(emphasis mine) …poor girl. I hope she’s okay now.
Helped move a friend’s stuff(carefully) . Been chatting with hockey lady on and off today.(even if we don’t date, she’d be hoot to go to games with. )
All in favor of Apes starting the new MMP?
Aye!
All oppossed?

Oh, shame, shame on you!
