It is getting closer to December 25th, and time to break this old classic. Just for general interest, here’s the poem that the movie was based on. It’s interesting to see how it was fleshed out.
Hm. Well, I got bored after about 4 stanzas, but probably because I’ve already seen the same story told with stop motion and a Danny Elfman score, so this just pales in comparison. But it’s some interesting trivia to know that the movie was based on a poem.
