Now, I don’t want to panic anyone, but as of tonight’s win over the Stamps , the Saskatchewan Roughriders are first in the West, 2 points ahead of the Bombers, and the B.C. Lions, and the Eskimos. In fact, the Riders are second place overall: only the Als have a better record, by just one game.
While I personally take great delight in this, I must admit I’m worried. The Riders haven’t been alone in first place in the West since 1976. I’m afraid if I look out the window I’ll see that the moon has turned blood red, dogs are sleeping with cats, and Stockwell Day has become Leader of Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition. (Oh wait, that already happened  )
On balance, I think I’ll just sit back and enjoy it, with a goofy grin on my face, until the Rapture. It can’t be long in coming.

Sometimes the snow comes down in June
Sometimes the sun goes 'round the moon…
