Does anyone know how it ends? It cut off for us just as the husband is prodding the skull with a stick after his wife faints.
This is so sad … filling in plot points of an MST3K movie … but here goes.
And I may have some of the details wrong, but the gist is …
Husband strangles Loopy Wife inside house. Husband starts seeing The Skull everwhere (sight of it may have interrupted choking of Loopy Wife?). It chases him out onto the grounds, near the pond. The Skull attacks him, biting Husband in the neck (Ooooh. Something is compelling me to hold this skull against my throat). Husband dies. Wife wakes up, apparently only knocked out and not killed. Preacher and wife come over. “Why would he do it” Loopy Wife asks. “For your money, dear,” preacher responds. Preacher and wife, and Loopy Wife drive off, leaving Mickey to tend to the once again empty place. Hey, lets drive away and NOT call the police. It worked so well LAST time.
By the way, if the MOVIE or CABLE dies during the movie, you are NOT enititled to a free coffin.
But actually it’s the day AFTER they burn the painting. Wife is trying to find Mickey to say goodbye, and Dead Wife’s ghost chases her. When she reaches the house, Hubby strangles her.
Hehehe. I have it on tape.
Ending is Mickey looking into the pond saying, “They’re gone now, rest…”

Guin, thanks, I’d forgotten that. Dead Wife’s Ghost also chases Husband, who throws a stool at it. Gee, he threw a stool at her. That was something really hard. He should have used a stoo…{interupted by the others}
