sorry for the confusion … what I meant was that I was playing on Black’s side, not that I’m the only one playing for Black. It’s not as much fun unless more people play. So if you still want to fight on Black’s side, you’re welcome to. And yes, I wasn’t paying much attention on that last move.
Here’s a proposal : The last move for Black by barbitu8 stands – 6. … Nf6.
Due to the confusion, barbitu8 should still have the option to play for either Black or White.
Is this acceptable?
(to Doctor Jackson)
“Bishop jumps Queen! Knight jumps Queen!”
Considering the position and loss of time by Black, unless he replies 6…Nh6 and has some devious redeployment in view, I’d rather play on the White side.
Incidentally, PJ and anyone else, if you’re interested, there a lot of chess websites. I have 14 on my desktop. Two common ones are yahoo chess and MSN games. Kasparov chess is a good one too. There’s also the International Chess Club, FIDE chess club, and the others. I’m at work now and don’t have the websites at hand, but if any one is interested, I’ll post them all at this site. They’re all free. ICC has a membership of $49 a year, but allows guests, which means that you don’t have to join to play. The same with MSN.
Is this game still going on? PJ hasn’t made his move for Black, if it is. If PJ’s 6th move is Nf6, I would not move 7.B-g5. It makes 3.b3 a pointless move and black has to move his KB to k7 anyway, so why pin the N?
What’s the status and is it the first person for W to post a move that prevails?
