Grittings, all.

Just wanted to show everyone my preliminary sketches for The SDMB Comic Book.

Yeah, I know everything’s not entirely accurate (for instance, I’m aware that Satan has pupils), but hey, it’s a friggin’ comic :smiley:

Any other suggestions for characters? Cecil’s gonna be there, though we’re never gonna see his face ('member what they did with Number 1 in Thunderball? Same thing). And there’ll be supporting characters, of course. But for the first issue, it’ll only be the four main character currently up.

By the way, should I give 'em nifty superpowers, or send them out on their own? Opinions ARE quite welcome.

I like the drawings and super powers are always cool, maybe make them be really odd super powers though.

Say, Stormtrooper armor with a rubber Richrd M. Nixson mask just for style.

That battle droid looks terribly familiar…wasn’t it one of the evil ones that shamefully failed to kill JarJar, despite the whole audience begging? You’re right, they are evil, they must be destroyed…

Draw me as incredibly sexy & on the side of good… <I will use my cosmic power of stunning good looks only for good…honest!>

Ooh ooh! Can I be a character, please? There’s a pic of me on my homepage, a link to which is conveniently made aviable at the bottom of this post.

I have a goatee now, but draw me with or without one, since I grow a goatee then shave it about every 3 months or so.

Now the question is: when you get around to introducing people like ssskuuggi, hypergirl and Silverfire you realise they’ll have to be naked don’t you?

And if you give them superpowers PurpleBear will have to morph into Hug-girl, Demo would just be The Fonz, and yourself as a star wars/trek freak.

Since I’m a hairdresser, give me powers using a pair of scissors as a weapon. That’d be so cool! :smiley:

Ok then. Well, for design ideas, I’d like you to style me like an Amazon jungle goddess, but don’t forget about my lovely buxom figure there, cowboy. :wink:

Oh, and I like the drawings so far. My favorite one is Satan.

Can I be in the comic book? Or is my post count still too low? Yet another reason why no one loves me. I get naked, doesn’t that count for anything? Ack, I’ turning into Lauren, minus the naked part.

I know for sure I’m gonna try to put all o’ you who posted here into the comic at one point or another… although I don’t think nudity will be very prominent, sorry. Don’t want my work to be labeled as “porn” just yet :smiley:

(That’s not to say that it’ll be “prudish”…)

Actually… umm… I had pondered giving Wally a cameo appearance as an Obi-Wan Kenobi-type character…
