The SDMB World Poker Tour on Pokertropolis......Rude and Grim when you go All-In

Thanks, Cap. And I am thrilled to have done that well. A few hot streaks and some lucky draws at the end to delay the inevitable. Doesn’t mean I don’t have my sights set on winning one of these weeks.

Another question, how do you all keep such close track of the past hands? The software rushes through some things a little too quickly for me. When the cards are revealed at the end of a hand, I’d like to run through it again in my head (“okay, he raised after the flop, but got the card he needed for his flush on the turn…”, something like that). Do you keep notes or is there a way for the software to keep a log of the cards and betting that I can review later?

There is a hand history. Go to the Lobby, then Cashier. On the left is a Hand History tab, you can search back thru your past hands.

I can’t believe he re-raised me all in pre flop with just a pair of kings. Effer!

Found it. But it’s only showing my cards and the table. Any cards that weren’t revealed in the game shouldn’t be shown in the history, either. But there were cards revealed after the showdown that aren’t there. I already know what I did. I want the history so I can see what everyone else was doing.

And MissTake brought on the suckage last night. Big time.
Yuck

Here, here’s as much sympathy as I got a couple of weeks ago when I went out in 11th outh of 11. <<<< :stuck_out_tongue: >>>>

And RA it should show all the cards if the hand went to the showdown.

Yeah, I so overplayed those cowboys :stuck_out_tongue:

The best hand of the night had to be when I slow played aces and doubled up off Yeti after warning him against doing that. It was just too perfect an opportunity to pass up.

Nanook that was a beautiful moment. Amazing that you could get those pocket rockets like that the very next hand.

Of course, I was a fan of Duke going all Hellmuth on Asterion. Boy Dukey you seemed pretty p.o.'ed.

Suckin out little f’r!! I wasn’t too hard on him, I was smackin off on some other tangent and the flow of the chat made it look like I was bustin’ on A.

Does anybody have a log of the chat? I wasn’t able to participate due to monitor suckage.

Ok, I have some stuff to share from last night…

What an awesome tournament last night! 15 PLAYERS! The AIM was spinning like a marlin taking out a reel of fishing line…I couldn’t keep up with all the rude and grim commentary flying by. Nanook was in full F’n Bully mode last night.

Then we watched some of our Dopers on a .25-.50 NL game. Harmless, right? Not if you’re a penguin. Kyy, Duke & Aholi took some cash off of some dead penguins, and I just sat there, picking my butt and watched for awhile…until…

I got on the table with $20 and took a wild rollercoaster ride with it.

Up 6.35 (my Queens beat pocket 7s)
Down 1.00 (folded on a crappy flop)
Up 4.55 (semi-bluff worked!)
Up 24.30 (my pocket Qs taking out icetohot’s pocket 8s)
Up 8.25…

Now this was a mixed blessing…my connection was dropped while I was pondering on a $40 raise with my AcQc with my raise of $4.75 of my money already in a 3-way pot. The raiser was holding pocket Ks and the first caller had pocket Aces. I was thinking about calling (and even IM Duke my little quandry). But since my connection dropped, the hands went to a showdown with only my $4.75 in a sidepot…Flop: 6c 4c 7s…Turn: 7c…River: 8d…I flushed and only got $8.25 of the pot. Had I called or was able to call (and I’m still not sure if I would have), it would have been a $113 pot. DAMN. Now back to the rollercoaster…

Up 14.45 (my KK taking out Duke’s TT… I’m still sorry, Duke)
Up 60.35…

Here I had Qh Th and preflop bet was $3. Doubleup had KK…Flop was 6h Ts Td…doubleup bet 9.75 and raised him another 9.75 and he called. Turn was As…He checked and I bet $12…he THEN goes all-in with 37.10 and I called. River: 9d. DING DING DING!!! We have a Dead Penguin! And now, back to our regularly scheduled rollercoaster…

Down 1.00 (calling a small raise, but not the bigger reraise)
Down 52.35…

Now this was insane. I had Ac9c…Preflop bet was $1.75 and I called (this was my biggest mistake, right there) and 5 players saw the flop…Jc 4d 4c. Sonamor was holding 4s8s, so he had trip 4s…We all checked on the post-flop (my second biggest mistake?)…Turn was 3h…Sonamor bet $5 and I called on my nut flush draw. River: 8c…my Nut Flush!!!..Sonamor bets 45.60 and is all-in, I called…Got killed by his M’Fn Full House! Ouch!!! A $107.20 swing…F’n 8c.
Sonamor quickly logs out as a fast as a bandit leaves a the scene of his bank robbery…

After seeing another AA v. KK showdown (between two other players) for $173, I leave after 3 hands that were foldworthy and netted about $56 overall. Quite the ride…for a .25-.50 NL table. Heh, I also counted 56 hands dealt to me as well.

Wild, just wild.

I doubt it…sometimes I post some of the log…but that one was just too HUGE to wade through.

The ultimate revenge. Too bad I was on the wrong side of it. :frowning:

Anyone going to hop into the 99c tourney tonight?

Ick. Not much there. Only shows my cards, not opponents’ - not even showdown winners and losers. Doesn’t show bank balances. Not really saveable as a text file.

And it was depressing to see how few playable cards I got.

I’m seeing (or, not seeing) the same thing. Do you need some amount of frequent-player points to unlock some features?

I can live without seeing the bank balances, but it would be nice if they were there. Considering what info-junkies poker players can be, I’m surprised they’re not.

I’m interested!

Signed up on Pokertropolis, deposited funds…how do I get in on this?

Not sure. I can see my cards only if the hand isn’t played out, but if the hand goes to the showdown, I see the opponent’s cards, all the community cards, and my cards.

Hey, I’ve finally got paid more than $0.45 in a tournament. I’ve got at least 17th place in tonight’s 99 cent tourney. That $2.97 is mine.

Well, I finished in 14th place. Guy went all-in A9 suited, second guy went in AQ suited. I called both with AK suited, which left me with so little money that I decided to go all-in as well. Q came out on the board and I lost.

Oh well. At least I made $1.98 and had some fun for three hours. Now I can keep playing for a little while.
