Former King Crimson guitarist Trey Gunn, Peter Gabriel drummer Jerry Marotta, Shreikback guitarist Michael Cozzi and keyboardist David Jameson are performing the music of Peter Gabriel as The Security Project.

They have been touring around the world, but on their new tour they have added Happy Rhodes on vocals. Happy has an authentic four octave vocal range, with a voice that sounds like a duet between David Bowie and Kate Bush.

The tour starts Friday, October 21st in Milwaukee.

Thank you gaffa. And a very fine new addition Happy is. I’m so thrilled about this! We’ll be at the Milwaukee and Cleveland shows. The Chicago show is part of Progfest and unfortunately you can’t buy tickets to individual bands. You have to buy a one or three day pass. She hasn’t played live since 2007, and is coming out of retirement for these shows, because Peter Gabriel was such a huge influence on her. There should be some west coast dates in the spring, including Seattle.

A few dates from their spring tour have been released. They’re playing Seattle on April 7, and 4 shows in Japan on April 10 & 11, with more sure to come. I am so biased it’s ridiculous, but I highly recommend the live show and/or download if you’re a Peter and/or Happy fan.

I forgot to mention that the 5 songs can be heard streaming for FREE. It only costs money if you want to download the songs. They ask for $5.00 for the download but you can give more if you want. I paid $10 and I haven’t even downloaded the songs yet, but I have listened to them streaming several times and did before I paid the $10.

I agree but unfortunately it was a live venue only show.
