Oddly I would never name a daughter Debbie. Go figure.

Hello, Michael Ellis, my (real) name is in your list!
Oddly, I’ve never found it to be sexy. Quite the opposite.
woo-hoo! My real name made it on a list. I’m Valerie.
Hannah
Audra
Patricia
Amanda
Why thank you, Standup Karmic! And for all of you who think Jenny (though I’m actually a Jennifer, I never use my full name) is common, it actually isn’t in Britain. It’s becoming more popular, but I didn’t meet another Jenny till I was 19. I seem to remember hearing that someone has written a book claiming that men are more likely to have affairs with Jennifers than women of any other name, but I don’t have a cite for it. All I can say is, I’ve never slept with a married man.
Can I also hijack this thread just slightly to say I think Jake, Leo and Alex are THE sexiest names for guys?
My middle name is Olga. Everyone who finds this out refuses to call me anything else. I think of myself as being lucky, though - two letters’ difference, and it would’ve been Helga. <shudder>
Oooooh, I’m on the list. Now tell me, does the sexiness change, if it’s spelled LindsAy or LindsEy, or is it all the same?
jezabel?
Shannon

[strong bad]You’d better mean, like, Brianrietta.[/sb]
I’ve had good experiences with Christinas and Carlas. Meh, I’m boring.
Denise.
I think Fellatia is sexier still.
I’m also fond of Sandy Hansenees.
This is my middle name, and a lot of guys say they like it once they find out what it is.
Thank you, Futile Gesture, aryk29, Mr. Excellent [sub](sort of)[/sub] & Michael Ellis * … you’ve made my day.
Julie
Philana
Which, coincidentally, happens to be the name of the girl I’m currently in love with.
I made someone’s list–Adrienne. Yay.
I just read a book with a very sexy character named Yvonne. That’s my current sexy fave. I also think Christine is a very sexy name.
Also:
Sharon
Rachel
Peyton
Marcia
Portia
Hey, it sounds like a car! A sexy car!
What guy would not like that?
What she said. Thank you.

My theory is that you like names of people or characters you met, saw or read about and liked when you were youngish. That even a passing notice can create an subconcious ‘tanya’=‘sexy’ link
tammy, beverly, anne-marie, danielle, carla, carly
And names that I dislike - kathleen, gorgina
