I may not be the one most suited to start this, but was curious as to the feelings of others after listening to the new Sigur Ros album. Quite simply, after listening to it for two days, I like it more than Agaetis Byrjun, which I didn’t think would be possible.
Any other doper fans out there? What do you think?

Tracks 3 and 4 are godlike, but track 7 is possibly the worst thing ever put on CD. There are no real standout tracks like Von, Olsen Olsen and Svefn G Englar and it is obviously a new direction for them, being somewhat minimalist in approach. The “Wall of sound” feel has disappeared, which is a shame but it is good to seem trying to soemthing new.
I was originally disappointed, but it is growing on me.
I’ve listened to it twice, so my opionion isn’t made up yet, but my first real thought was something along the line of “Hey, they’re channelling the spirit of Low.”
Wait, doesn’t Low have a new album out?
