I have 24 friend requests that i’ve had since before the last major change. I still show 24 requests, but there are no new friend requests that I can actually add. The area where it says “requests received” and “requests sent” is completely blank.

Not sure i understand what you are referring to. Are you saying the form you fill out may not be kosher, or the way you receive your. Donuts may not be kosher?
Oh, and my latest mystery box? $1000. Whoa! Stop the generosity, EA! You give some people a box of donuts (twice, I may add) and I get this?

While I don’t mind getting multiples on the wheel if that means I might get multiples of the multipliers, I don’t like that we can’t sell them. I don’t care if I just got $20 for the stuff, but I’m not going to want to keep these things out, nor do I want them in storage. I’d rather sell them just to get rid of a few of my fountains. While I’m not close to it, there is a limit to how many items you can have in your town and if I ever do get close to it, I’m going to be pissed I have a million Valentine’s thing I hate.

Shit works. Woke up to ten million bucks, 20000 donuts, and all the old seasonal items in my inventory. Changed my password, and all seems well.

I got the Tunnel of Love last night and I didn’t have to try too hard to get it.
Currently I have my Valentines Day stuff in a small park that doesn’t look too great. I figure I have to organize and/or move it so it looks better.
And I, on the other hand, got my seventh set of lovely fences.
Its easy to pick up people. Go to the EA message board for the game and drop your name in one of the “add me” threads. I’ve been at 100 for a long time. I want to dump some of them to add more dopers.
I’ve heard of the multiple lemon trees, plus a few people with extra Squeaky Voice teen and Hans. It must suck. Some people talk about being able to gift people items, and these come up as the things people would love to be able to get rid of since they’re doing no one any good.
I missed the Lemon Tree stealing so I hope they bring that back some day. It sounds like it was fun.
I got 3 ponds today and I already had one. Yay multiplier bonus, at least.

I got to 100 visitors a while ago. I put my request in for players in a couple of spots on the web, and as a result, I had about 20 more neighbor requests than I needed. They were pending back then, are still pending as far as I know, since i have a little circle above the bart/Milhouse icon with the number 22 in it. Thats the same number of pending friend requests I had before the latest update.
But since the update, even though it says I have 22 pending requests (i think that’s what that little number means), there are no names in my pending request list on the neighbor page. So, that’s who I’d like to figure out how to add (those people that put a request in to me a while ago, but I didn’t have the space.)
I can’t find their names to add.
So, to make a long and confusing story short, I have been able to delete the dead wood, but I cannot seem to add anyone.
If someone is reading this and needs neighbors, send me a friend request and I’ll see if it comes through. If it does, I’ll add you asap.

I did the same thing for now. I usually do a bunch of rearranging after getting new holiday things or a run of new buildings. I’d shove it all into storage and put it back in better ways, but who’s got the time?
I moved just about everything I could into storage last spring during Whacking Day because it was a lot easier for me to whack snakes and for neighbors to place eggs without anything cluttering up the screen. I may do something similar again this year. I just don’t have the eye for decorating that many of you do, so even if I do that, it’ll still look crappy when I put it all back.
I was up to $6M and nothing to spend it on, so I splurged for the World’s Largest Cubic Zirconia. I’m not really a fan of the giant money-sinks (escalator, magnifying glass), as they’re too big and distracting. I believe the WLCZ ties in to the cat burglar episode, which is one of my favorites.
I found a minor glitch…or rather programming flaw.
If you put Marge the Witch on Cletus’ Farm to speed up the crop, the crop will lose 4 hours from it’s time right away. You can then box/unbox Moe’s to release Marge and put her on something else. By doing that, you’ve essentially double booked her. You’ll only get paid once, but you get the time off the farm. I’ve had mixed results with trying it more then once on the same crop.
To get it to work more then once I think what you need to do is put her on the crop, then take her off, then wait more then four hours (doing it right away does nothing), then do it again. I think that works. OTOH, one time I did it at night, then did it again in the morning and the crop only lost 2 hours the second time.
Either way, at the very least it kinda works, I’ve been using it to speed along the roses. Of course, if you’re playing the game once a day on a 24 cycle it’s not going to do much for you.
If your crop is less than 4 hours from being ready, I think it takes something like half the remaining time off instead of making the crop immediately available.
