I’m averaging about 1 pink box (uncommon for me) per day, give or take. I have none of the blue (common) goodies, Father Sean from the pink, ~20 fence sections, and one tree. I’ve avoided the really bad spins, but haven’t gotten much nice.
And until it shows up in my town, I choose to believe the Faberge egg is a myth, and all youse guys are pulling my leg. And trying to convince me with your obviously photo-shopped screenshots will not work 
As Fair Rarity mentioned a few posts ago, you can now purchase golden eggs. There’s no way I’m paying actual donuts for pastel fences and duplicate alien topiaries.
If they just offered Shari Bobbins for 200 donuts, I might buy her, but I’m not spending 50 donuts for a tiny chance at winning her.

Why would anyone spend 15 donuts for one of those baskets, when all you get is 400 eggs back?
You can pay 100 donuts and get 11 spins per color (I think), which is a much better deal.
I’ve seen some folks with 6-10 baskets, so they are either getting all the baskets I have never received when crushing a rabbit, or they are buying a ton of baskets with donuts.
Oh, and it has been 3 days since I have started my hunt for the fabrege egg. This particular event just continues to torture you right up to the end.
Which is still about 4 days away. I haven’t read anything on an extension, and now that they are giving you a chance to buy gold eggs directly, I am thinking no event extension.
I want the Blocko store… And that’s it. I will take anything else, including the stupid egg council guy, because I like him. I don’t need any more easter trees, rock piles, or fence sections. I really don’t like getting more eggs, either. Especially when you spend 500 blue eggs for a spin and get 200 in return. Talk about a “fuck you” prize.
I wouldn’t mind the additional 15 or so fences I need for the donut bonus. Obviously Johnny Fiestas or Bobbins would be great. I just don’t want any more damn ponds.
I do like tapping the Egg Council guy and watching his legs flail around.

I’m at 23 fences, which means I’m probably going to come close to completing that objective, but … not quite.
Has his game been crashing for anyone lately? I play it mainly on a Kindle Fire HDX and it crashes at least once a day lately. I had been playing on a Galaxy Nexus, but switched to a Galaxy S5 a few weeks ago and it won’t run long enough to even play.
…I have 15 baskets: 7 in the city and 8 I’ve left in my inventory, all from tapping. I doubt anyone is buying them.
Yes, it crashes about once a day on my Galaxy S3 (old school!).
I don’t know whether to blame it on TSTO or the OS upgrade I got about a week and a half ago.
Question. Do you often easily get what others are trying forever to get in these events? Do you complete things easily? I am just curious because I haven’t received 15 baskets through the entire event… So it would seem that you have a much more friendly EA randomizer than some other folks do. My god, 15 baskets… Maybe you are right. If people are getting them at that rate, it is very unlikely folks are buying them.
I swear there is something very “unrandom” about this game. Especially the version I have. I seem to pick up most of what I lack at the very last moment of the event. But other people finish their collecting/whatever weeks before the thing actually closes.
It would be nice not to have to visit people every single day foe a while. That, to me, is the worst part of the game. It is too time consuming to enjoy.
How long did it take you to get your Fabrege egg?
So I read a trick on the official EA boards. It worked for me once, but I’m not sure if it really works or was a coincidence.
Anyway, the MK I egg generator we got for free during the quests can be made to give you whichever color you want. I’m hunting for uncommon now, having cleared my common. I’m team pink, so I want blue eggs. To get blue eggs, when my MK I is ready, it shows an egg. Don’t click on it. Go to Krustyland and come back into the town. The egg should be pink (blue if you are team blue). Don’t click on it until it is your common color after the KL exit/return. When you do click, it’ll be uncommon colored.
If I didn’t explain it well, check out the official forums. But I’m happy it worked for me because that’s 75 fewer eggs I have to get from swapping. I tried to swap with every single one of my 100 friends last night and because so few had baskets of the right color, I had leftover eggs. Ugh, this event… it’s just so awful.
I’m really disappointed (and not entirely surprised) box odds or egg/basket drop rates did not change. Considering all the broken baskets, it really should have happened. SOMETHING should have been done to make up for that. My baskets all worked, but I know I’ve gotten hosed going into other people’s towns.
I was saving up my spins, but I think I’m going to open my boxes tonight.

The Faberge egg is NOT a myth, I can now confirm. Baskets, however, are rarer than sightings of the Loch Ness monster. Beach chairs and umbrellas are as common as rats in the NYC subway.
Then I get a 24 hour quest needing 10 kids and I only have 9 (Bart, Lisa, Milhouse, Ralph, Martin, Nelson, Dolph, Rod and Todd). I never got SVT as a prize. That’s some major league bullshit. Now I have to wait a whole 24 extra hours to finish the quest line. 
If it makes you feel better, I DO have SVT and he didn’t count. I also had to do one more kid today for that tenth task.
I haven’t been able to log in all day. I have two quest lines running simultaneously, plus the egg tasks. I bought and built the cracker factory the same day level 40 launched. Or maybe the day before. I am trying get Fleet-a-pita to complete while the whole Miss Hoover thing plays out and so few people have egg tasks that I am trying to keep them on those.I would really like the Egg Council guy and 18 more fences before this ends.
On a non-complaining, but confusing note: I have mystery eggs and donuts showing up. I went to bed the other night and had only ten donuts. When I played the next day, I had twelve. Last night I went to bed having spent all my blue eggs on spins, this morning I had 522. Strange.
The eggs aren’t showing up properly when you get a basket. It shows 200 instead of 400 and when you exit and go back in, the missing 200 show up. So maybe that’s it?
I finished blue boxes today, my uncommon color. I have much better luck at games at my sister’s house, for some reason, so I figured I’d zip through my 10 spins there. I got Johnny Fiestas and enough fences to give me the suck out donut bonus.
I only need Shary, Father Sean, and Kang topiary. I have two Kodos, so while I don’t have the complete set, I at least got the equivalent in multipliers. I don’t think I CAN get my two final characters until I unlock at least 3 more boxes, and that is ridiculous. It’s one thing to not get them through bad luck and it’s another to be a daily player, multiple times a day, plenty of baskets, and visiting 100 friends a day and not be even eligible to get them.
I saved up 165 donuts since Gil’s last deal. I’m going for Bumblebee Man and Otto, but I refuse to spend donuts on this Easter bullshit. I know they’re not Easter-related, but I don’t want EA to look at the number of donuts spent and have my regular purchases be seen as some sort of success on their end. Plus I didn’t play last year and I heard there was an end-of-season yard sale, so I might hang off until that happens in case anything good comes out limited time. Bumblebee guy and Otto aren’t going anywhere. Maybe I’ll get lucky and they’ll be a Gil deal after Easter.
I got my first Spuckler kid! I got Dubya who is kind of tall with an eye patch and a red mullet. Per the pop up when I got him, there are three kids total.
Mine is coming in a couple days.
