Keep forgetting to put my characters on jobs using the unemployment office. Losing money by having all these idle folks!
Tonight I remembered to put them to work. 24 hour tasks for everyone!
Come here a minute later to find out the new story line is out and now all my peeps are tied up.

This event seems do-able without extreme effort, but, as with the last event, the prizes appear underwhelming. I’m getting a bit burnt out on crafting and keeping track of different types of currency.

If you have King Winter or White Witch Burns, they both have tasks that earn antlers.

I upgraded him to Level 3 before thinking it might not be the best use of assets…
The currency used to upgrade him is not used for anything else though, isn’t it? Antlers are non-consumable (and presumably replaced for the second act), runestones are for crafting, idols and catnip (and presumably two more TBA) are for turn ins that earn runestones.
I want the Burns costume, but I don’t really need new costumes for him, Homer, or Lisa. I’d like some for the slightly more obscure characters.
Just found out that the antler icon in the bottom left will point straight to pagans.
I have had three 1.2gigabyte-sized updates foisted on me the past 6 days. Is this common? Not interested in paying for 1.2 gigs of data, repeatedly, especially if I can’t say “no, don’t update, just play the damn game.”
I doubt they’re that big unless updating from a fresh install. Once you start it would show that most of the updates are already complete, but they misleadingly list a bigger size.
Have you seen the current Pit thread? Tapped Out warns you if you try to update on data, but do you not have wireless? At all?

Even my home wi-fi has a cap on it. Although at 1000 gigs a month, we have yet to get close to it.

Just tried out the antler icon thing. Oh man that is so great. Saves a lot of time looking around town.
One thing this game has taught me is that I haven’t watched the Simpsons in a LONG FREAKING TIME if the buildings and characters in this game are also represented in the show. I mean… when was there a Chinese real estate agent?
Glad it helped. It has been around for awhile, but the last few made it either really difficult to use (multiple clicks) or limited use (only after you’ve completed the track and are just earning donuts).
