Ay Chihuahua! El huveos est mucho grande!!! Grasias!
Thanks Slackerboss! I just cleaned them all up–that got me to the pet snake–I’m 2k snakes away (or 200!!! donuts) from shirtless Willie, so I’ll gratefully take whatever you can spare.
And thanks for taking the time to do it–there’s no trick to putting the eggs down quickly as far as I know–you have to place each one–so that must have taken a while. I appreciate it from you (and everyone else! )
I dropped off the rest of my eggs with blainer and Fenris, about 400 between the two of them. My logs and stumps are due to generate more eggs in a half hour or so. I’ll drop more off after I harvest those.
By which I meant donhomer64 and fenris. And done. I wish I had more to offer after the crazy amount of eggs you guys gave me (donspadeoa) last night to put me over the top.
[QUOTE=Sideshowkar–I’d be interested in knowing the cheat, even if I don’t use it. Maybe spoiler tag it so that no-one has to see it?[/QUOTE]
I put together a Tumbler blog really quickly - http://bed-full-of-cats.tumblr.com/. The name of it doesn’t have anything to do with the cheat, it’s just the last thing I saw before having to come up with something. I’ll probably take it down in a few days… if I remember it exists.
Just wanted to thank sideshowkar, fenris and everyone else. But a particular thank you to labtrash without whose immense effort I wouldn’t have been able to get anywhere near it. Thank you one and thank you all.
seriously I had so much fun playing this, I reached level 24 and I couldnt progress because I missed a mission early on or something. Thats what support told me anyway. So I was done, all I could do was sit there with nothing else to do. Pissed me off because I spent money on items in game too.
I’m really, really, really late to this party but I just downloaded this on my Android phone yesterday and have played it a little bit. It’s funny and kinda fun but after reading through a few pages of this thread, I am trying to understand what makes it so addictive. Or, maybe I don’t want to know!
Does it just get more maddeningly addicting the more you play?
Yes—the startup (for me) was terrible–boring, lead-by-the-nose “training”…it sucked. However, once you get to about level 5 or so and they stop forcing you to do stuff to “train” you? You get hooked.
Seriously–the training period is way, waaaaay too long and restrictive. "Make Lisa do this. Now make Lisa do THAT. Put this building right HERE–no, you can’t put it somewhere else, we said HERE! Spend donuts on THIS. >yawn< Once you’re past that, and you actually get to choose who does what, what to build, etc? It gets progressively more addictive
That’s what I figured and now I am terrified I will like it too much! Yeah, this training sequence I am still in is pretty boring. I also wanted to ask (so I don’t have to read the entire thread to find out) is this one of the games that keeps “working” in the background even when you aren’t actively playing it? I’m thinking of some of the timed tasks where if you don’t have a doughnut to speed it up that it will literally take an hour, a day, whatever to complete and that game time will progress on its own without user input?
Yes, all “events” take place on real time (thank Jeebus)
I wouldn’t call it addictive, but I just realized that I spent about half of my workday yesterday whacking virtual snakes in a game. And was OK with it.
Yeah–it uses real-time clocks, so if there’s a 24 hour task you start at 7:00 am on monday, and you don’t log back on, it’ll be done at 7:00 am Tuesday.
I did the same thing on Tuesday on my work from home day. I totally forgot that Willy had a 1 hour wrestle the snake task and I had him do that about 10 times plus I was able to whack the snakes from my rocks and log more and send Lisa to other Springfields more.
Of course, now that we’re at the end of whacking day, all that extra time spent whacking snakes and planting eggs will cease.
You might want to try the modified version that a posted a link to in post 786. Some people might consider it a cheat, hence putting it into a spoiler box. I’m not trying to promote it endlessly - I won’t mention it again unless someone else brings the subject up - it’s just that in a case like yours where the game stopped working after spending money on it, it seems like you’d be justified in finding a way to be able to play again.
