Looks like Level 31 is now released. You will need Mayor Quimby free to start the tasks.

Two things, first, I learned from TSTOtips that level 31 won’t kick off if you haven’t built Herman’s.
Second, Herman’s has dropped down to $166,000.
Also, since we just flipped to another page, I’ll mention again that if anyone is still looking for more friends to add, a co-worker of mine that I got hooked on the game could use more friends. He’s KAZES1LOVE
Well, yeah. You have to have built the main building from the previous level before the next level kicks off. Except for a few weird progression glitches, I think that’s how it always works.
Added your friend.
In other news, I’m poor again.
I had enough for both new buildings, but am down to $37000 again. Yikes, that was nearly $600000 for two buildings.
It’s too bad making your place look nice can only swing your multiplier a few points one way or the other. During the time while I was waiting for Level 31 to come out I thought about putting in some bigger parks or outdoor theaters* (composed of fences/bushes/parking spaces/meters(vanity points)), but the most that would have done is brought me from 3.5 or 4 stars up to 5. Basically, it would have made my town look nice, but still a waste of money at a time when I need to save. I’m glad I’ve been scrimping and got myself up to about 700K. I just bought Herman’s, so I’m down a few hundred thousand, but at least I’ll have another character (and I’m glad I waited so long to get it).
*ETA, I’ve seen drive in theaters, but when I went to go find a picture, I found that amphitheater looking thing too. I’m not even entirely sure how they did that.
Dammit, now I want to build an amphitheater. That is a very clever use of perspective.
Glad I saved room in my mansion zone for another big house to go along with Burns and Fat Tony!
Rumors are flying of a major change coming in August. If you want to read about it, I’ll spoiler the link.
The less-spoilery details are that a second area is being added to the game, one that requires you to leave Springfield and load a new area .
That seems interesting - that will be cool to send characters over to a new area.
I started rebuilding some of my Springfield. I don’t want to shake everything up completely, but I’ve been reading about making 3D effects over at http://tstotips.com and wanted to try it. I “elevated” my town hall after moving it to a more central location. I think it looks OK, but I’m not 100% on it. When characters walk through hedges or walls to get to the building, it kind of ruins it for me.
In the new Level 31 campaign, one of the characters does make a remark about being able to track the townspeople during a bit of dialog. I thought that was fairly amusing – I’m sure I’m not the only player who would like a way to scroll through the characters to help see what they’re doing and assign them a task if needed.
I am now being asked to build everything at once!

[li]Hospital[/li][li]El Chemistri[/li][li]Buddhist Temple[/li][li]Post Office[/li][li]Squidport - Turban Outfitters[/li][/ul]
I started with the Temple because it will give me more characters to put to work. What do you advanced players recommend for my next build? I’m considering scrapping the Squidport quest line altogether because it will cost me a TON to buy the water territory and the boardwalks.
Well, as you said the Temple gives you Lenny and Carl. After that, I would just go from cheapest to most expensive. Building El Chemistri gets Comic Book Guy off your sidebar but the Hospital gives Dr Hibbert a 1 hour job.
I would probably go for Turban Outfitters next so you can keep moving forward on Squidport quests. The whole Squidport thing is very slow moving since those tiles take a long time to build. While you’re at it, just keep building those, regardless of the cost, as soon as one is finished, build the next. I’m at the point where they’re taking 2 days to build (and you can only build one at a time. Also, you have to place them in the water for them to count towards the quest.
When I was in your position, I was alternating between Squidport stuff and the rest of the things they were asking me to build (but always building tiles).
ETA, On the one hand, Squidport is supposed to be permanent so you probably don’t need to be in any rush to finish it, but I’d hate to find out that you need to be at a certain level there to start something else either on the mainland or, for example, in Krustyland or some other thing that shows up at some point. So you probably don’t want to completely ignore it and end up falling a month behind.
Level 32 came out today, with Rod and Todd. You can get Sir-Putts-A-lot if you missed it, like me.
Also, the mental facility and some other premium stuff.
Kamp Krusty!
Too bad I’m not spending real money on this game.
Hey everyone, I’ve been playing for a while now but have no friends that play
I have send some friend requests to people who put their info in this thread, hope that’s ok. For anyone that wants to add me my origin ID is
djoelie84693
I’ll add you, but if you search through this thread, you can find out ID’s and you can add a bunch of us. ![]()
Edit: I did add you now. Accept it and we’re good.
Thnx, have accepted ofcourse! And did find a few ID’s, but the thread is very long
pretty sure I missed quite a few! Nice town btw!
Did anyone else get a bump from level 31 to 32 or was it just me?
Yeah, all of us at the top level did.
I built the Putt Putt thing and found that now that I have Rod and Todd, Lisa no longer has an 8 task (which was to babysit Rod and Todd).
