I tried a couple until I discovered what a mess importing makes of my nice SC4 maps. I’m hoping that Nightlife will make the importing of maps more viable. As it stands now, only flat maps with no water crossings can be imported with any resemblance of their SC4 counterparts. That’s boring.
I notice the minimum processor speed is a 1.2 GHz G4.
If I tried to play it on a 1.25 GHz G4, would it be a total dog?
This site looks like it would be handy for determining that.
Someone on the Sims 2 site posted it for testing for Nightlife, so I’m not sure how to set it up, but I do know you have to download a small file for it to work.
That site would appear to be designed for PCs, not Macs.

So last night I was playing with one of my Super Sims…you know, where you max out all their skills and jobs and pretty much don’t have any use for them anymore?
When I first started playing her, I hooked her up with Benjamin Long after I gave him about $500,000 so she (Betty) could fulfill her Want to “Marry a rich sim”. They’ve both maxed everything and have a ton of money left, so last night I sent Betty out shopping to test the limits of how much she can buy. I had almost 400 outfits and had spent about $105,000 simoleans before my hand cramped.
Betty and Benjamin have two kids, one adult and one teen. I might could go for a third as Betty is still young (Benjamin turned Elder the other day) but I think I want to keep that family small. Maybe I’ll do like I did in my previous installation and move the oldest back in and start him a family. The house they have is huge and someone needs to be living in it when the parents kick the bucket or the children lose all that money.
Betty’s not working anyways, so I could have her watch the kid instead of Krispy Nanny - Karen Whosits. I ‘Influenced’ her to repair a trash compactor a few times until she got shocked. Now she walks around all the time with ash on her face.
