I can’t get EB to pick up the phone but I’m about to head over there.

The bad news: It crashed a few times.
The not so bad news: The crashes were quick and clean and grew less frequent as I played. Save often. It does not take as long to load.
The video is awsome and smoooth. It is not as hard as I feared. I can’t wait for them to have a baby.

EB Games called to let me know my copy was in. I’ll pick it up as soon as my husband gets home with the truck. I told him yesterday that I was planning to meet him at the truck and yank him out before he even got a chance to put the truck in park.
Someone explain to me why I forked over extra money to Amazon for express shipping when they haven’t even shipped it yet? (But of course, it’s “Soon to ship” so I can’t just cancel it and go buy a friggin copy.)

I’ve already removed the first Sims and gave all my Sims stuff to my SO and still bought a new hard drive. All I had were a pair of 40s and they were pretty much full; my total space has now tripled.
I removed The Sims first off too.
It went from 3.6 gigs free space to 18.46. :eek:
Don’t forget to defrag. My harddrive really needed it.
Fortunately I have over 200 GB of hard drive space. I moved my backup of my music to the new hd so I did not have to remove my Sims or the back up of my Sims. I want to go back and compare.

How many people who ordered the DVD edition already have it?
That’s what I’m waiting on, and I’m thinking that might explain the slight delay.
I have the DVD edition. I picked mine up this afternoon at EB Games. I’ve been playing for about an hour and a half now.
Got my copy on Friday. Yay!
Got mine! Last night, EB Games, Eaton Centre, downtown.
As I posted in the other thread, I’m very impressed. I stuck most of the game on my D drive, but it still wanted to stuff about 300 megs on the C. That made the C a little tight, so I removed the Java SDK, Maya PLE, and Descent 3. I’ll reinstall those later.
Now to make sure that Dirk Dreamer doesn’t miss school again…
Mine’s on it’s way! Stupid Amazon won’t ship software overseas, so I had to have it delivered to my parents and then ask them to forward it.
