the Sing yer li'l ol' heart out MMP

If someone told me to order something at Chick-Fil-A that wasn’t nuggets I would have no idea where to start. It’s all I ever get there.

StickyBuns, your buffalo chicken dip (with extra chicken so it could be a sammich filling) was a big hit at work. It all got et up - most in sammiches, but some as dip. I even had one guy ask for the recipe.

Daughter got her car loan approved, so yay for that. Now we’ve just got to order the car, and we’ll do that tonight. She’s excited.

Other than that, just another freekin’ day in paradise…

OOOOH buffalo chicken dip…I meant to comment on that before: at my last poker game one of the guys made a buffalo chicken dip and it was awesome. The next game is scheduled for Labor Day weekend, and I need to ask him to make it again.

The nuggets are nice, the sandwiches are meh at best.

However, stick that slab o’ fried chikn on a biskit with aig and cheez for breakfast and it’s yummy. It’s probably very, very bad for me that there’s a CFA in my office.

Back from endless meeting.

Well, nearly endless, I guess.

Truer words were never spoken

I did. But I didn’t want to say anything lest I sounded needy and desperate.

FCM, I’m glad it was a hit. I haven’t made it in a very long time because TVMan can’t eat it but it sure does sound good!

I’m here in TVLand now and TVMan is playing with the new dremel that he bought himself for his birthday (timely since his old one just quit working). It will be dinnertime soon.

Dindin was teh num! Go Me!

Looks like we have a concensus that Chick-Fil-A sammiches are teh yuck!

For some of us, desperate and needy is all we got.

Well, yeah - you go with your strengths…

Back from ordering daughter’s new car. She’s getting a magenta Fiesta hatchback with a couple of the options packages. She is very excited. Now she waits. We’ve been told 6-8 weeks or 10-12 weeks - fortunately, she’s in no rush, since her car is still running, sorta.

Two down, 3 to go. I’m ready for the weekend…

Care for some TMI?

I’m typing this wearing only my undergarments. Why? No, it’s not because it’s TVMan’s birthday. Well, I guess it sorta is. We went over to his parents’ house for dinner and they decided to let in their big hairy allergy causing dogs while I was sitting on the couch. They are very sweet dogs, but I was pretty miserable by the time we left. Fortunately, there’s a Rite Aid on the way home so we stopped in and got some Zyrtec and then I stripped off my doggified clothes once we got here.

BTW, TVMan says thanks for the birthday wishes.

Me me me me me me me! I was about to send e-mail since you hadn’t stopped by in such a long time. swampy says hi to you every day on facebook, but you don’t seem to say hi back…

Wrong again.

Here I thought you were still waiting. And yes, why don’t they just let people make appointments?

Had book group tonight. We had fun (we always have fun). Tomorrow night is Wicked; Thursday night is a birthday party; Friday night is Wicked again (don’t ask).

Crazy week.

Happy birthday, TVMan!

Welcome back, Spaz!

Hugs to all!

Tonight I am a denizen of the dark.
(what’s Survivor Night?)

At the NHL Booster Club Convention, all the rookies, and a bunch of us old timers stay up from sometime Saturday, till 0700 on Sunday. The rookies have to play games. I usually stay up from 0700 on Saturday, till 1am on Monday, with 2 hours of naps stuck in there. That’s why “Sleep is for the weak”.

Wow. I’m weak! I’m weak!

Indeed! Now if I can just figure out how I can escape Pittsburgh alive!

I always tell my wife (4th generation Pittsburgher) that if she dies before me, after a respectful period of time I will leave this city forever.

OK ------- my bags will be in the car on the way to the cemetery. Or sooner.

What kind of games? Sleep-deprived air-hockey could get really dangerous.

Well, yes, but given the dates I thought you must’a gone on vacation and not told us.

We’re having gota fría in Sevilla: temperatures have dropped (which means they are nice instead of roasty toasty) and it’s omgraining!
