Does that mean she’s now available? ;)
Today is kinda sorta my Friday. I am on a plane tomorow to fly back to Cali from Houston so no real work required tomorrow.
Had a long tiring week so I will be very happy to get home for a couple of days and see mr ems and celebrate our second-second anniversary. I have to get dressed up and real pur-ty tomorrow night which will be fun as we never do that.
I need a nap. And dinner.
**BBBobbio **- she’s been available for about 10 years. But I like you too much to even consider… *<shudder> * never mind…
OK, back, obviously. We went to Olive Garden and for the second time in as many visits, I was very disappointed. I know OG is not great Italian cuisine, but I used to get a tasty meal there. Not so much any more. The salad and breadsticks are still good, but I got a new seafood dish that was bland. And believe me, if I say it’s bland, it has no flavor at all! ugh
Daughter is taking a friend tomorrow and going to work on her classroom. He’s young and strong and she’s got furniture to move, so it’ll work out well. Plus I don’t have to do heavy lifting, so yay!
That’s all I’ve got. C’mon Firday!!!
Chili’s for lunch and sammiches for dindin. OYKW and East Alabammy Friend are drinkin’ margaritas. I think they are both on number three. I had one and that was enough. Oh hush! I can so practice restraint when it comes to alcohol. One was good but another would have been yuck. Moderation. That’s the word. I can so practice moderation!
Remember, I’ve met her face to face…
Today was my Firday. I’m skipping work tomorrow to take The Family Truckster to the grodge for some long overdue servicing. Gonna take my bicycle with me, and see if I can get busted by Suffolk PD for pedaling ass…
I know, but she’s got 6 more years of weird built up!
Off to beddy bye for me - I need some serious beauty sleep!
I spent Tuesday night and all day yesterday sick with some weird stomach bug. I don’t know what the hell it was, but I’m glad it’s over.
I hauled my ass into work and spent the day dealing with yet more email and trying to nail down some specifics for a business case analysis for starting a palliative care program at our hospital. God, talk about dancing around the questions I asked!
Now, I need to head down to our neighbor’s house and give them the check for our HOA dues. I thought I had given them one in June, and it turns out I didn’t.:o
We’ve got a developmentally disabled girl who went missing 48 hours ago. She’s sixteen with the mental capacity of a nine year old. Yesterday, while lying in bed, I couldn’t figure out why helicopters were constantly flying overhead; now I know. She lives not far from me, so we’re within the two mile search radius. I hope they find her safe.
Well, you know, I was working on silverware and then I started chatting. First with TVMan, then with some other friends. I guess I’d better get back to work.
OW!
I’m avoiding doing the Booster Club minutes for a few minutes.
tick tick tick…
Back to work!
Beeeeeerrrrrr!
Oh what? Never mind. Look away.
LOOK! A ZEPPELIN!
: steals MBG’s beer :
Hope you got things figured out, Rebo.
That choir sounds like fun, taxi. I can sort of carry a tune, but mostly sing along with music outside of anyone else’s hearing.
Wow, Sticky, that takes some nerve. Not much of a loss if she becomes an ex-client.
Back from an adventurous day. We did touristy things this afternoon: Book Loft (32 rooms of books - it’s a fun maze full of all kinds of books - and then a little French-style pastry shop where we observed actual tourists asking for directions and then purchasing some pastires. Then we went to a birthday party.
Tomorrow it’s more touristy things, then Wicked.
Hugs all.
I’ve been to that bookstore! Years ago a friend and I went to visit another friend who went to school down there and we did some local sightseeing.
Ok, I’ve poured resin and now it’s time for bed.
So, 60% of the chorus attended the educational workshop this past weekend. Guess how many of those remembered anything that they learned? maybe 10%. So freakin’ frustrating.
Hands MBG a cooler with a selection of brewskis
“Bewsking the thirsty” is one of the Acts of Mercy, even if JayCee didn’t quite put it in those words. Specially when the thirsty has been working his butt off.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. The others are still slug abeds. I’m sure several margaritas a piece are the reason for that. Would it be awful of me to “accidentally” set off the smoke alarms? Awful or evil. You decide.
Nava it’s unwritten cause Jesus figured we’d just know to do that without bein’ told.
Up, caffeinated, off to irk. I’m going to a friend’s suprise 40th birthday after irk.

It makes a big difference when you see it as a very important part of your life as opposed to something to do one night a week. {{rosie}}
We get our baby back today! She was being spayed last night around 5pm, so we haven’t had an update: but they said the surgery was going well. I think I’ve missed her more than anybody else. If this is any indication, I’m going to be one miserable, worried doggie parent when we go to New Orleans and have to board her.
