The smallest-ever family gathering (at least since I was born): it’s just three of us. So a turkey was going to be silly. And goose far too expensive.
But we’ve found a place which offers various three-bird roasts, and we’ve ordered the duck/partridge/pigeon combination. Having only eaten one of these before, I can’t wait to taste it.
