The Solution to Lost Socks!!

I have never, NEVER, ever lost a sock while doing laundry.

Count them when you put them in the washer, count them when you put them in the dryer.
AND, if you damage or tear one sock from a pair, throw both of them out.

Guaranteed perfect results, uses your brain, saves on frustration.

Is she a Criminal Minds fan? The actor who plays Dr. Reid Spencer always wears mismatched socks.

I don’t lose many in the washer…they tend to go missing before they even get there. And now I have a cat who eats socks (only clean ones) so I’m a bit more careful.

I buy a large bunch of the same socks, and ferret out the old batch once I need to start in with the new batch. It does leave me with a few pairs of the old batch that I haven’t really figured out what to do with yet. I am just into my second batch however and figure that the pairs from the last one will find a use eventually.

The practice of buying extra socks just to lose them is part of what’s wrong with America today. Wasting perfectly good socks just because you can’t keep track of your own possessions. Pitiful. Not me, though. I GPS enabled every single sock I own.

Bingo – every two years or so, I go buy a couple dozen new, identical pairs. All old socks get tossed out, new ones all match each other.

That is the sickest, most disturbing thing I have ever heard :D.

One of the other advantages I’ve found from buying large quantities of identical socks is that if you get a hole in one you can toss it out but keep the odd sock; then when you get a hole in another one you’ve got a mate for the good one.
