Hungry children don’t learn well. At least they get lunches. Sigh.
I’ve read all the suggestions and have stolen a few. Monday I’ll be leaving a box of mac n’ cheese cups and pop tarts at the public library that is attached to the high school.
That sounds pretty scary, I hope things get resolved soon.
I want to chime in with sympathy, that sounded horrible and I’m sorry it happened to you. I tend to have a live and let live attitude about wasps, they are important pollinators after all, but sometimes ya just gotta stand your ground.
Do your wasps die in the winter or will your shed be warm enough for them to survive?
At least the process is starting, this has to be so very frustrating for you and everyone in your position.
Be sure to get good helmets and wear gloves while racing around on your e-bikes. There’s a lot of gravel out there.
Does Flikr work?
George survived that viscous attack.
How funny. Sounds very cat like "the heck with the toys, I want the box”.
She’s probably right. It’s all bad news anyhow.
Ten years ago, a co-worker gave me a lovely knitted, wool sweater. I bought a drying rack for the sweater. I never knew how much I needed one until I had it, I use it all the time.
Of course, if I had a bit of clothesline strung under the carport, I’d use that for our thick comforters but somebody thinks it would look too redneck.
That sounds like a great start, I hope it continues.
Do you have any handy churu’s? Those might help break the ice.
So its been raining all day which is lovely. There are cardinals that live in the forest behind the spite house and they know that they can find seed in front of my french doors. Jolene likes to creep up and chitter at them.
GG still doesn’t really know how to cat. He’ll belly crawl over with his tail sticking straight up in the air and start vibrating and fluffing, but he doesn’t fluff all over, he just has wild tufts of fur sticking up randomly. Once the vibrations get really going, he will start huffing in time. It never fails to crack me up.
Besides that, stitching ruled the day. One of Hub’s family members asked me to make an Angel for the church tree top and had a specific pattern he wanted used. (cross stitch, but I can work with that) Happily, he doesn’t expect it for this Christmas, it has a lot of sparkly (fragile and easily tangled) threads and beading so it will take time and good light.
That’s pretty much all from here and I should probably go through my email inbox. I try to do that a couple of times a day now that I’m starting all over.
