I’ve been working on my homework this morning. It’s a little bit tricky. I still have two more things to do before class tonight but I needed a break for a minute or two.
In other news that isn’t new. I now haven’t heard from either the associate dean or my professor. It’s been a little over a week since I sent an email to the associate dean. I guess I’m going to have to start visiting in person next week.

Does anyone but me think that “Following” somebody on Twitter (which I don’t even use cause, well, I don’t care) kinda sounds like stalkin’? It just sounds so creepy.
That was on tv when I was about…10? My mom used to let me stay up late on Friday nights to watch ‘Nightstalker’ and we’d be all freaked out together. So when this came on, she let me watch it. I wasn’t too far in, I think to the opening of the graves and seeing the jackyl bodies, when I decided, in a very grownup way, that this was going to scare me too much. So I went to my room…where I sat with my ear agains the door listening for so long that I decided to just come out and finish watching it. I still love that movie, and it’s still one of the creepiest ones ever! 
My mom’s scary movie was ‘Carrie’. When the hand comes out of the grave at the end, she jumps every time…especially if my dad is behind her ‘helping’ 
And…good morning, Mumpers! Happy one-week-til-Thanksgiving! I can’t believe it’s so late in the month already, ugh; so much to do still! Gonna stage a bunch of furniture out to the front porch area; we don’t have a porch, but a cement side-walk kinda thingy that wraps around, so it’ll do. It doesn’t rain here, so I wasn’t going to be worried about anything getting wet before Goodwill shows up tomorrow to haul it off, but…yeah. It’s overcast today! :eek: And according to the weather reports, it’s gonna be that way for a week. :eek: So hopefully it doesn’t actually RAIN. And that’s the first time I’ve thought that sentence since I moved here, hehe.
Ok…coffee is needed.

FYI, A couple of weeks ago, I met the Woman I am going to marry. It is going to be an uphill climb but she is worth it. Wish me luck

It’s pretty overcast here - my laundry may not dry after all - we shall see…
We’ve got to make a couple of stops on the way home, and I need to be sure I have all my pie makin’ ingredients. I definitely need crusts, and I’m not sure if I have the evaporated milk. I also need to get a pint of whole milk for the custard pie - using skim would be so wrong!! Plus cool whip and reddy whip for the punkin pie. So much to remember - I should make a list.

Never seen the Exorcist or the Omen- despite my childhood neighbours being the grandparents of the kid what played Damien. I’ve never really managed to get into horror films at all, really.
I should go and make something interesting for dinner, but I always find it hard to do stuff when it’s as grey and dull as this. I’m up, and dressed, and it’s hard to get motivation to get much beyond that. The fact that I’m not having coffee today is not helping (I have to lay off every now and again, or I just start drinking more and more).
I do have pottery later, and I’m part way through the final lizard, so I will have done something with the day, if not much. Blurf.
Jim where does this woman live? She must be sump’n if you’re willin’ to climb what must be a really tall mountain just to see her.

Good news of sorts. I emailed the associate dean again today and asked if she had received my original email. She just emailed me back. She apologized for not getting back to me sooner and said that she was still checking into it and would let me know.
I feel better. 
It seems as though I am almost done with my homework.

StickyBuns yeah, at least the fact that your email has been received has been acknowledged. I’d keep on callin’ on a daily basis until the problem is resolved. At this point, that seems to be what it will take.
So today started off soooo peacefully. Evil roomie had all her stuff spread out to kingdom come and I had the audacity to reach past some of it to get my water glass. She tried to start a fight but I just invited her to never talk to me again. Sylvia, the owner, says she’ll be out of here Sunday, which is nice, but I’ll believe it when I see it. No wonder I didn’t see the Evil Roomie when I came to check out the place-- they were hiding her!
My goal today is to find my money. I’m on disability (cause 4 out of 5 doctors agree I’m the crazy kind of panicky). It’s taken the better part of two years but I’m finally going to get financial help. Only the state sent my check to the bank account I’ve closed. So where is ma moola? Phone tag commences… NOW!
Prosciutto works wonders for pill giving. Just a tiny piece wrapped around the pill and kitty probably won’t even suspect treachery as it gobbles.
Off to wash floor mats. YAY for cleanliness

I helped a roommate move back in college; we had her Dodge Dart so loaded up that we strapped her jackalope to the hood, and I had to sit on her brother’s lap, while carrying a plant, the whole way. Halfway there, on the highway, I noticed a spider crawling on the plant, and both I and her brother freaked OUT! She had to pull over and we both scrambled out, brushing ourselves off in case there were more, lol.
