Of course, most MMPs are pointless. Some are pointy.

Yay! Poetry!
I like Angry Birds.
Pointy birds? Woodpeckers? Ow!
I should be asleep. I’m not. Had to finish the first finger of the glove I’m currently knitting. It’s for my nephew and I am pleased. I think he will be, too.
Off to sleep, I hope.
Why is it Monday already???
Hugs.

And now I present my very unoriginal poetry …
O Angry Birds
O Angry, Angry
I Fling You at Pigs
So very hamgry.*
It’s hard to rhyme “angry”. What’s that third word in the English Language that ends in “gry”?
The third word in the English Language that ends in gry is, after that question has been asked this many times, gry.
This weekend I’ve spent over 6h on the phone with Mom, thanks whomever came up with Skype. Buying a phone, plugging it into that landline I only use for DSL and calling land-to-land would actually be cheaper, but calling from the computer is comfier, plus not having a phone saves me calls from telemarketers. She’s taking Grandma back to BCN next Monday; it has already been established that Grandma’s next trip will be down to my aunt’s. Mom was angry because “I’m not an only daughter!”; Aunt was angry because “what, I’m not her daughter?”; my own generation was busy avoiding getting into line of sight, in case the crockware started flying.
I had a call yesterday that I did not pay for. My cellphone rang, my brother said “hey, hi there,” and before I could answer passed the phone to someone with a very high voice who gave me lots of explanations about what her brother was doing, and what Mommy was doing, and Daddy takes us to school and back now (he’s currently unemployed, although expecting to be rehired as soon as his last boss has a new construction project), and a lot of other stuff I missed completely. Bro explained that, while the 5yo is perfectly fine with the concept of “Aunt Nava lives far away so she only is here sometimes,” the Kidlette was all intrigued at my disappearance and had been “calling Aunt Nava” with any piece of plastic or wood that could remotely resemble a telephone. So, since he’s always saying “I ought’a call Nava” and then forgetting, he figured he might as well Do It, as I was likely to be home, it being 8pm on a Sunday. I melted into a puddle, but both the parquet floor and I got better.
The weather has gotten better too, it’s still cold by local standards but the windows have stopped rattling, the wind has gone below 120km/h and doesn’t “carry snow” any more. After several days of rattling windows, the silence felt strange.
From last week:
(sorry, can’t be assed to do fancy coding :p)
The “Gry” riddle was originally a trick question – see herefor a complete explanation. Short version – the correct wording, which is very important, is:
“Think of words ending in -GRY. Angry and hungry are two of them.*
There are only three words in the English language*.
What is the third word? The word is something that everyone uses every day.
If you have listened carefully, I have already told you what it is.”
Bolded part is the trick. The answer is “language” (the third word of the phrase “the English Language”)
Poetry, by the way, is pointless. Just sayin’.
[Nose. Grindstone. Put back]
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’ on a chilly mornin’. Time to go back to irk. We meet today to talk about what’s up next. Sounds like fun does it not!
It’s waaaaaay to early for poetry. Later to day it will be waaaaaay to late for poetry. Anywho, thanks for gettin’ us started Rosie.
Nava awwwwww… she misses her Auntie Nava!
Time now for more caffiene and feedin’ of rumbly tummy. Then, purtifcation for irk must commence. Yee and Haa.
Happy Monday Y’all!
Good morning. Here is some free form verse…
It is cold.
Very very cold.
I’d rather it would snow.
Heigh ho, heigh ho, it’s off to work I go!
There ya have it, that’s all the “poetry” I got, and it’s borrowed at that! LOL I am up and caffeination is in progress. Still. And on top of it all, I’m late because I didn’t want to get up from under the covers since it’s still so COLD out today!
Good morning all and have a good day today.
brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Happy Monday, folks! And good news to start the week - 'im indoors got offered a 3-month contract in Surrey today so he’ll be off down there tomorrow to do some honest work.
Good morning!
I feel pretty good, for an icky rainy Monday.
SO - thank you so much for posting that! I never knew where all that GRY crap started from. Another meme explained.
Y’all stay warm, okay?
ETA: Yay for 'im indoors!

I am at work, and I’m wearing pants. My luggage is in the car, and I didn’t bring a blankey.
I am wearing two socks, yet only one shoe.
I’m freezeing my apendges off. Was -2°F this AM, with a quite brisk wind. Playing catchup after yesterdays six state trip.
Yay for Surrey! Which I don’t rightfully know exactly where it is and will be researching that shortly, but I’m reasonably sure it’s in England and therefore relatively close to home, always a plus in these jobs.
That Milne/LiLi collaboration sounds like it could use some music. Would a waltz rythm work? It seems to work with almost everything…
Off to the supermarket. Y’all have fun, any sickies get better, any frezies get warmer, etc.

Bill Cosby yesterday was high-freaking-larious. I laughed so hard I cried. I’ll blog post about it later because it’ll come out kind of long.
I also got a new airbed yesterday. Culinary Boy and I have agreed to save up for a real bed.
Happy birthday yesterday, FCM!
I like llamas. What’s the old poem?
In far Tibet there lived a llama
