The Story Time MMP

Hey, stranger!!! I’ve missed your smiling… um… posts. Didja bring snacks?

Supper is a rotissed chickie from Food Lion, baked sweet N.O.T., cabbage, whomp biscuits, and fart blossoms for FCD! Daughter just arrived, so we’ll be eating soon.

I dropped off the mitts and picked up my check - very small this month. Oh well… It’s not like I’m into this for the money.

Stay safe, Nooner!!

Did you fix fart blossoms to punish FCD and daughter?

We passed inspection. Got an outstanding. Now I have a stress headache.

Complicated Friend called from Canadia and we chatted for a bit.

My feet hurt and I’m tired.

The pug should be named Wendy.

That is all.

HA!

Sorry.

Carry on.

Ok, television/media setup all taken down. The stand it was on, plus a huge, heavy wardrobe, and assorted lamps and tables and full CD/
DVD stands are out for pickup. Bunk-bed I had to take partially apart to get it through the door, but all the pieces are together and in good shape outside. Next is the dresser in the bedroom; I’m going to try to get that out as well, just so MrTao can come home and not have to worry about moving all of that. He had a 13 hour workday yesterday, and besides, I like challenges  He, of course, is going to throw a hissy-fit about my doing it all by myself, but hey: one advantage to not being a large person is that you learn ways to get around things most people use strength to get by with. Like…leverage! Besides, he’s the one with all the broken, achey joints, and I’m still all in one piece, and have always intended to stay that way, so I think I know what I’m doing by now. :stuck_out_tongue:

Ok, 3 cups of coffee this morning probably helped

I feel so sleepy. However it’s only six-thirty in the p.m. That’s too early for beddy bye. Life is so hard!

He likes 'em - a lot! So I tossed 'em with salt, pepper, onion, and a little butter. He’s happy. Life is good!

I’ve got the hiccups. ugh.

You ate fart blossoms so be glad it’s only hiccups.

Brussels sprouts are a delicacy.

You, Sir, probably purchase hollandaise in a jar. :dubious:

This whole time I’ve been trying to guess what fart blossoms were; I guessed wrong, as I thought it was referring to cauliflower. :stuck_out_tongue: (hey, that’s what makes ME toot!)

Ladies and Gentlemen, a bit more decorum, please.

See to your coasters.

Showing your decorum goes on your Permanent Record.

Irked. Came home. Beer. Chatted with Hockey Lady:).

Hey, giggy!

Keep your head down, Lunch. If they make a export version of that anti-missle system with extra bells and whistles, will they call it Chrome Dome?

Congrats on your passing Spaz! [sub][sub]That came out wrong[/sub][/sub]

Congrats Cap’tn!!! i’d settle for a second date at this point.

They were to call it “Golden Dome”, but thought it sounded ostentatious. I suspect they found it politically incorrect as well, given the Dome of the Rock mosque built on the Temple Mount.
I believe the hardware is made in the USA, the software in Israel.

I read the story. and killing a man’s joke with facts goes on your Permanent Record.:stuck_out_tongue:

The perfect example of cosmic justice would be those Hamas bastiges launching their missiles toward Jerusalem and taking out the Dome Of The Rock themselves. I’d laugh for a week solid if that ever happened.

I’s finally home from Sandy Yeggo. Brrrr.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 48 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 66 and “partly cloudy.” I reckon the other part will be sun.

Howdy gigity! Hope things are gon’ good now.

Welcome back BBBobbio!

flytrap I purchase my Hollandaise Sauce at a restaurant when I have Aigs Benedict. I have never made it and probably never will bein’ as I’m not a big fan.

Congrats on the inspection Spaz!

Again, stay safe Special1!

Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, alas, irk purtification must commence.

Happy Firday Y’all!

Work on your reading comprehension, you old fart! :stuck_out_tongue: I made them for my sweetie - one serving, just for him. I don’t eat those nasty things.

Good morning! We had rain overnight - glad I didn’t leave clothes out last night.

TGIF and all that. Part of today will be spent getting ready for my trip next week. I’m glad I went there once already - at least I know where I’m going and who I’m there to see.

Plans for this weekend are finishing the details on my last batch of pottery and getting it over to the store. Probably some house-tidying also, and maybe some leave mulch/vac/dumping if the weather cooperates. Great excitement at FairyChatEstates!

Welcome back, BBBobbio! Didja bring us anything?? I should have sent you on a mission to photograph where I used to live in Coronado. I’d been told that the little apartment block was razed - I wonder what went in its place…

And onward! Happy Firday!!!

dammit.

DH and I had to resort to double-teaming our previous cat (believed to be a Maine Coon mix) when he had to be pilled. Liquid meds I could do solo.

My current cat also totally disdains human food. She’ll sniff at something, then do a hilariously horrified “you EAT that???” face. Her predecessor liked dairy, but rejected meat or other people food.

Our dove loves popcorn, to the point that when she’s free-flight, she’ll land IN the bowl and help herself (even though it has to be crumbled up into beak-size pieces for her anyway). On one somewhat disturbing occasion, I was eating a turkey sandwich and she got interested in it. I held it for her and she nibbled a bit. I could understand her liking bread, but found her enthusiasm for the turkey a bit unsettling.
