The Sweet Sixteen MMP

I posted a thread in General Questions; if any of you can answer it, please do.

I’m back from :eek:clothes shopping:eek::eek:. Went to Tarzhay and found three long-sleeved tops and two camisoles I liked that actually fit and looked like something. My stuck-in-1997 fashion sense is very happy to see plaid is coming back.

Now my sinuses have decided to start draining and the back of my throat is raw. Stupid fall allergy season.

Can’t help you there - I hate flying and avoid it if I can, so I know nothing about it.

Finally got the groceries ordered, we can pick them up at 4:30. I can’t believe it’s 12:30 already. The dog’s bath may have to wait until tomorrow.
I have to figure out what I’m doing.

Sari That is so unfair to sonny boy. I would want to have words with that professor. It is bullshit.

I think that whenever Mama Plant gave the teacher a dressing down and came home all smug, the Teacher put another check by my name on Her List. :dubious:

It’s not March yet! :stuck_out_tongue:

Irk is irksome. In other news, I have a hurty tooth. I called to make a dental appointment and the soonest they can see me is Saturday. At least I won’t have to take off irk.

We’ll see what happens, as long as he doesn’t get a zero or he can resubmit the correct way I’ll be happy.
I think a third of the way through the class is a little late to be clarifying things.

My son works so very hard, I sit here and hear him. He is scared to death of plagiarizing. He is very anal in his papers, always looking for the just the right word. Like describing a feeling from a painting he kept saying dangerous then he would say that’s not right and he goes through other words until he thinks of menacing (ok I thought of that one). Every word has to be perfect. Sentence structure has to vary, words can’t be repeated, there has to be a flow. When I proof read for him he’ll have me do it out loud and if anything sounds awkward he rewrites it.

He’s come a long way from being dyslexic and struggling to read and spell. Maybe because he did have to work so hard is why he is so anal now.

I also hate flying and try to avoid it.

The weekend was good. Went many places with my sister.

Today has been all right so far. I visited a friend’s mother out in the country.

I would like to go to the store and also practice another clarinet today (the regular one, I’ve already taken the alto out.) Poor kittycat has no food left so I need to go get him some.

There are multiple reasons why my son did not allow me to talk to anybody at the school. It was good for him, taught him to speak up for himself.

Have you tried oil of cloves?

Day 1 of Week 2, and the only official thing I did all day was sign my name on a form to start the process of getting computer access. Other than that, I read Emma till my tablet died, took a few walks, and even dozed off once. The movement of bodies has begun - there are at least 2 empty cubicles, so I suspect we may be moving soon. Hope so.

**FCD **didn’t want supper - I rolled some cheese in a tortilla and had some chips. Just too tired to cook, so I guess I’m glad he didn’t want a real meal.

I was way too tired to wait for the eclipse, but FCD went out and saw it thru the trees. I’d seen one before, so I stand by my choice to sleep.

**swampy **- according to your join date, in Nov you’ll hit 14 years. I just passed 15 last month - dang - that’s a lot of time suck!

Happy Moanday!

Howdy Y’all! Moanday has been survived. I irked from home today and did not finish up until 4:30 P.M. I could have done some more stuff, but, well I didn’t have to nor did I want to do more stuff. OYKW swiped the General’s dindin. I just made up a bunch of meatballs for tomorrow’s dindin which shall be meatballs ‘n gravy (I’ve had a gnawin’ and a cravin’), rice (hence the gravy), and green beans.

{{{red}}} hope you get the tooth fixed soonest. ICK!

BigKitty glad you found attire to your liking.

ruble thanks for the fashion link. I have found my next formal outfit.

rosie I shall check out your thread.

MOOOOOM that’s right I joined in 2001, not 2002. :smack:

I watched hockey practice, I did laundry, I dodged rain showers, now I’m having a martini.

red, hope the tooth feels better soon.

**swampy[/]b, that’s more disturbing than you in a tubetop and a gold lamé thong.
sari, I’d go off on the professor, too. You can’t change the rules mid-semester.

You know what’s annoying?

When you want to make a ham and cheese sandwich and you can’t pull off a slice of cheese. It breaks up into little bitty pieces, or rips up half the slice under it.

That is annoying!

My computer time tonight is short and sweet. I’m exhausted and I’m signing off.

MWAH!

Why do folks watch practice?

To see who’s healthy, and who’s not. To see who’s giving 100%, and who’s getting stuck in the pressbox. Because it’s hockey, the most awesome sport in the universe.
Heck, you can go watch hockey, and see how awesome it is.

swampy, I always thought you’d go for something with more color.

I haven’t been on a plane since 2006 so I’ll be no help to you, rosie.

I want a puppy cupcake. Maybe if I’m good and fill out all my character sheets this week I’ll let myself get one.

I was thinking more of
http://datedaily.mate1.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/men-fashion-461x346.jpg
but then again I’ve got the cutest little nipples.

Work was good. Part of it was training for a lateral position (no Swampykins – not that kind of lateral position) that doesn’t get extra pay or hours and carries some additional responsibility. It sounded like a good idea when I applied.

I will assume everyone is watching football and not imagining mental images of my nipples.
