the thank god the crappy weekends over MMP

Leviticus made me do it.

FIRST!!!

This one?

Took Gordie for a walk, and he was staring intently at the storm sewer drain.:dubious::eek: Ruble, any chance I could borrow the 3 pounder, and some anti-clown rounds?

My boss’s husband is named Gordie.

Mother Nature is having a hot flash?

(We here in the middle of Tennessee are having the same weather)

Up, caffeinating, breakfasting and a load of clothes in the wash. I will put a pot on to make veggie broth when I do KP and afterward, put a pot of chicken bones for chicken broth and freeze all. A little yard work and the usual Sunday chores shall happen and, if I’m lucky, there will be a couple of hours to ride this afternoon.

Well, rats. I discovered that it wasn’t all dirt - it was moisture between panes. The sliding panel in the kitchen and the stationary patio door both appear to have lost seal integrity. I just sent off a request to a company to find out if they can fix them and what it might cost. If it can be fixed, it’ll probably have to wait till spring. Oh well.

At least I’ve finished the windows in the back, plus the stairwell is cleaned and organized, more or less. After it warms a bit more, I’m going out to scrub the deck railing - it’s more green than white, but thankfully, it’s vinyl, so it cleans easily.

Productivity continues!!!

Does he also make weird noises when you skritch his butt?:D;)

I endorse this. shivers

Blurfage. My shoulder is killing me. Must make an appointment this week. I have laundry to do today and I’m gonna cook. I think I shall make a meat loaf and I have a turkey breast. I will probably cook both and eat one today and one tomorrow.

My A/C stopped cooling in the master bedroom. Hubby found that it has a leaky coil and is not in warranty. Thank God he can keep it gassed up until the part arrives. I shan’t be hot.

Buddy is doing well. He still is wearing the cone when I am not right with him. He is so pitiful in it. Another whole week. My poor baby. He just turned 6 months yesterday. I ordered the donut inflatable type cone. I hope it will allow him to eat and drink in it. The one he is using now will not.

Happy Sunday all!

Congrats Sari on the new truck.

And the railing around the back deck has been scrubbed, plus part of the deck. I’m done with chores today.

Supper will be London broil. It’s been marinating since yesterday, so it should be good.

Anti-clown rounds?

So the place that took in the kitten posted about it on their facebook. They christened it “Willow,” so much for me naming it.

Oh well, they paid for its surgery so I guess they can call it whatever they want.

Howdy Y’all! We deheathenated, had N.O.L., went to the horsepistol to visit a friend who has since been sprung (YAY!), OYKW accomplished nappage, and I moved a few more things (of light weight) around in advance of Tuesday and the start of new floorin’, and made a cherry cobbler. Chillage now ensues. Any need to feed will be via forage.

ETA: Trans yay for good news on kitteh!

The London broil was yum! Daughter and SIL weren’t here so there’s lots left over. I foresee cooking it up with onions and 'shrooms and gravy and serving it over noodles later this week.

Tomorrow, I need to build a meatloaf for the freezer and package the chickie tits I bought, also for the freezer. After yesterday and today, I need an easy day of chores.

**FCD **rinsed the dishes and the dishwasher is humming away. I’m about to assume the knit position.

I made some SPAM[sup]®[/sup] salad for SPAM[sup]®[/sup] salad sandwiches later.

This sounds good. Do you have a recipe?

How fortunate to have an HVAC guy in the house butters!

Trance, Willow is one cute kitten!

Took a ride this afternoon. We rode south and east, almost to Chattanooga before turning around and coming back. Wind therapy has improved my attitude greatly. Before going, I put a pot of soup in the crock (chicken, tomatoes, spinach and kidney beans with Italian type seasoning) and it’s yum!

Red yes very lucky on that front. I probably would not have been able to get anyone here today and certainly not multiple times to charge it up. Plus he is free.

I made the meat loaf. That was all I felt like today. Shoulder is knocking my arse. I shall try to see orthopedist tomorrow or as soon as possible.

It is good. He’d have to cajole people into trying it; but once they did, they were like ‘Do you have some more?’

Run a can of SPAM[sup]®[/sup] through a meat grinder. Mix in Miracle Whip* and sweet pickle relish. Chill for half an hour or more, then serve on soft white bread. (Mrs. L.A. had hers on a Hawaiian bun, I had mine on Sarah Lee Deliteful low-carb bread.)
*You must use Miracle Whip. SPAM[sup]®[/sup] is salty. Miracle Whip is sweet. If you used mayonnaise, then it would be too salty.

That’s the one. If Seattle would let us use that at stand-up (and corn likker as well) our turn-over rate wouldn’t be nearly so bad.

Did the Colony after all; kinda Colony Lite. Same basic plan I have for next weekend.

Oh ----- and the VIKINGS WON!!!

and the Steelers LOST!

So I will go to bed knowing there is a God and today He loves me.
