The third season of Louie was really good

The first 2 seasons were ok but nothing great. The third season was a lot better. They put it on netflix and I binge watched it the last 2 days.

I thought the first two seasons were great, but I agree that season 3 is the best! (Though I have to admit that the final scene of season 2 was one of the best things I’ve ever seen.)

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I’m on season one, episode six right now and I have a feeling I’m going to really enjoy season three.

Shit yes, it was!

I like the first two seasons too, and I even like Lucky Louie on HBO, but season 3 of Louie was really something special. Such great guest stars… David Lynch for fuck’s sake. That whole Letterman arc was fantastic. And Parker Posey as Liz subverted the whole Manic Pixie Dream Girl trope for me.

I didn’t watch them all in order, so when I saw the final episode of season 3 I didn’t know who that girl was. However after I watched the others I realized what happened. The finale was a very good one. The letterman arc was great.

The christmas scene with the doll had me laughing until I could hardly breathe.
