As above, the first part was the best part- it goes downhill from there.
It might actually have been compelling despite the crap if Azkadelia’s evil weren’t so easily handwaved away.
But listen, if you really hate your kids this much and are using fantasy as the instrument of that hate, I have some Terry Goodkind novels I can let you have on the cheap.

Yes, the drugs were excellent back then 
I played the whole ‘Tin Man’ dvd set at a single shot and got the most awesome nap out of it. Big thumbs up from this reviewer. I had insomnia the other day and nearly rented it just for the cure.
