Late in tourney, final two tables, five players on each, playing hand-for-hand. When one player goes out the tables collapse into one.

The player to my right has 10,000, 3,000 less than me. He is Small Blind, I’m Big Blind for the next hand. All fold to SB, who raises to 4,000. I look down and see AK offsuit, big slick. I figure to have the better of it and re-raise, so I’m now in for 6,000. Surprise, he caps it at 8,000 and I call.

The flop comes out K, J, J three suits. He checks. I bet 2,000, putting him all in. I flip over my top-pair-top-kicker, and he shows AA. Turn and river are blank, blank, and he takes the pot. My final 3,000 lasts a few more hands, but I’m out in tenth place.

However, not intent on letting TruePisces buying a vowel, Biggirl rolls a saving throw against Klaatu’s attempt to sell 14 oil units to the economy, denying him the money to buy Baltic Ave for jarbabyj and Bad News Baboon’'s place bet on “No Whammies”.

All the while, vivalostwages notices SuaSponte’s apparent interest in attacking Libertarian’s bomber base in hopes of diverting nuclear MEBuckner forces from the penalty box . :dubious:
