The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

It just reinforces my suspicion that Trump is, indeed, working directly for Putin and/or Russian interests. This nonsensical move does nothing but reduce American prestige, and reduce American influence - to the benefit of Russia and her ruling oligarchy. He’s done nothing but sow confusion and division since he started running.

It may just be that he’s a narcissistic asshole with a vendetta for Obama…but I can’t think what he would be doing differently if he were working directly for the Kremlin.
Just saw this:

Pretty much. Boeing is about to lose a $16.6 billion contract, by the way, from what I’ve seen flow across my twitter feed. Way to shoot yourself and your allies in the foot, further deepening the rift you’ve been so busily creating, Trump!

Oh, and for everybody looking for the reasoning, my guess is that it’s all part of some “grand” bargain between the US, Saudi Arabia and Israel. We could be seeing S.A. and Israel delivering on their end in due course.

Excellent - more American lancing of boils!

Allies? What allies? Pretty sure Washington went blue in ‘16…

Thing I read (Stonekettle) was it is more like 20 when you add it all up. And Boeing is a DJIA stock, so the market numbers will take a hit, unless Boeing can somehow launder their planes.

I am the weirdo (other than the Sultan of Qatar) who believes that Iran has the potential to be the best stabilizing force in the region, if only we would stop being their avowed enemy.

Boeing has plants in Kansas and South Carolina, who stand to suffer from loss of business.

It’s heartbreaking. They were moderating toward western ways at a decent clip until they were named as a member of the GWB “axis of evil” and we invaded Iraq on the basis of false pretenses.

I can remember when Iranian youth were admiring of the USA and emulated our own youth culture.

“Allies” as in England, France, etc. Sort of clumsily segued into a general rant, sorry.

Thanks. For anybody who believes that, then yes, it does make a lick of sense.

Would you say this is an emotional argument for opposing the deal? Or do you have evidence of Iran’s cheating?

Do you mind if I ask whether you are an Israeli?

I can’t believe anyone is surprised Chump withdrew from the Iranian deal. That could be seen coming from a long way away. And the European leaders ought to know by now that telling him what to do is like waving a red cape before a bull.

Maybe we can build planes out of coal, tobacco, and corn stalks

I meant telling him what not to do is like waving a red cape before a bull.

Israel just bombed Syria.

Hey, Americans! Get ready for a geography lesson!

(the tail is on the back end of the dog)

Agree. I think most Republicans in this country view Trump’s term so far as a smashing success, and will enthusiastically vote to re-elect him in 2020, and I do believe that he will indeed serve a second term. The only question for me is whether the second Trump victory will shock the country and the world as much as the first one did. I don’t know. Looking back on my past, I feel like people were more shocked by the second George W. Bush victory than the first one. It was like, “oh my God, AGAIN?!!” I think it might be like that with Trump.

Dear President Trump:

please don’t drop dead.

Love,
most of the world.

Richard Grenell, Trump’s new ambassador in Germany sent this tweet on his first day on the job: “As @realDonaldTrump said, US sanctions will target critical sectors of Iran’s economy. German companies doing business in Iran should wind down operations immediately.”
Was not well received.

What fucking planet have you been on for the last two years? Hell, what fucking universe have you been in for the last two plus years? “Trump” and “Make logical sense” are antonyms of the first order.

Diplomacy is hard.

Time for Europe and Asia to move on without the USA.
