So the Trump family fortune was built on the backs of exploited women and girls? The Trumps are parasites.
Or as mentioned elsewhere, trolling Sessions (who, I imagine, has objections to all three)?
Trump today:
1-The US may end trade with the other members of the G-7.
2-The Russian invasion of Crimea was Obama’s fault.
3-He ducked out of the G-7 summits on climate and the oceans
4-Relations with the other members of the G-7 have never been better.
5-He likes North Korea better than any of the US allies.
Putin must be doing backflips over Trump diminishing the influence and power of the US more every day.
Yes, I expect Putin to interfere in other country’s elections, including America’s. The issue here isn’t what Putin did.
It’s what Trump did. When Putin offered help, did Trump or somebody representing Trump accept his help?
As an American, I’m a lot more concerned about a President accepting foreign bribes than I am about a foreigner making those bribes.
I was reading a Twitter thread the other day about this being the origin of the Trump family mob connections.
About Trump’s suggestion that NFL players suggest people for him to pardon…Hannity refers to this as “calling their bluff.” Although it’s unclear what Hannity thinks their cards really are.
But there is a simple refutation to Trump’s suggestion: the stories that spawned Black Lives Matter, and the NFL kneel-down protest, aren’t about people who are unjustly imprisoned. The victims are dead. Beyond the reach of presidential pardons.
Then give him that list.
From tariffs to…totally free trade.
In other words, the people who make the most important economic decisions are increasingly at the point where they really have no idea what to expect from the top decision maker in the world’s largest economy. Wrap your heads around that thought for a moment.
Truly brilliant.
In full agreement with you.
I was just pointing out that what’s happening now is much deeper and more profound than a president taking bribes. Not to diminish the seriousness of his corruption, but it’s pretty clear that Putin and his oligarchs are essentially part of Trump’s cabinet, and they factor in his foreign policy decision making. What’s not clear, what’s not yet known, is the extent to which Putin’s Russia has sunk its bear claws into our political system. Against this backdrop, it is ominous to think that Republicans perpetually enable him and seem almost as desperate to end the investigation as Trump is. It makes one wonder just how far and deep Putin’s influence has reached. I seriously doubt it stopped at Trump.
We’re witnessing the potential breakup of the Post WWII transatlantic alliance, and we have people on the inside aiding and abetting its collapse.
No subsidies? What a complete and utter moron.
Does that mean we pull all our agricultural subsidies?
I can get behind that, if it seems necessary, but it does seem as though there are going to be quite a number of people who voted for trump that are going to lose their livelihoods.
“I want my friend(s) back, you son of a bitch.”
I really don’t understand any of this. Why one even ONE conservative/republican even tolerate this child and his attitude at a major international business meeting? Does no one have international stocks? Investments with other countries? Anyone with $1 in an investment fund should be freaking out over some orange guy pissing off our allies in financial situations. “Let’s have a trade war with high tariffs, NO tariffs, no subsidies!” Would anyone keep their stock broker if they talked like this?
Poll the friggin’ congress and ask them that if they agree with his ideas to explain why. Now.
The Hill is reporting that Trump has, essentially, threatened to stop trade with all of the other members of the G7, meaning Canada, Italy, Germany, France, Japan, and the United Kingdom, if they don’t reduce their trade barriers with the US.
god bless america (it’s all about me)
It helps Russia - Putin, specifically - and virtually no one else, which is why it’s now plainly obvious that Putin controls the President with real leverage. The fact that Republicans in congress are reluctant to stop this is also suspicious. Sure, some are wary of tangling with Trump’s voters, but some of these voters are going to get absolutely fucked by Trump’s policies if they get a taste of them for even a few months.
Besides our agriculture, our subsidized defense industry would suffer a massive decline. Boeing, General Dynamics, Raytheon, United Technologies, Lockheed Martin…
But, he’s just throwing shit out as usual. If anything sticks with the base, he’ll parrot then hell out of it claiming it’s his greatest idea since Og. No traction (no me/me/me) it will drop like a hot rock and the SG will claim fake news even with video evidence. The base idiots won’t listen either way.
I have noticed on this MB and a couple of others that the “smart” GOP supporters have been noticeably silent in re Trumpco.
It’s mostly the noisy, conspiracy theorists who are still buying Trumpco products.
…the same folks who bought the Obama is a Kenyan Muslim.
I suspect that after the mid-terms the currently silent GOP members may find their voices.
