It should be clear by now that we can’t apply the same standards of maturity and civility to thump that we have done in the past when a normal person was president. He is not a normal person, let alone a normal president. He has no moral code or moral standards. The more we normalize his behavior, the deeper in shit we sink.
Realistically, did leaking this get us any closer to the “25th Amendment?” It didn’t do anything whatsoever but possibly tell Trump he shouldn’t listen to, or even consult with, his advisers.
For better or for worse, this bullshit invasion was stopped because he was able to hash it out with people who know better, and he ultimately listened to them. Will he next time? And don’t give me this 25th Amendment fantasy. You think this leak to was inform the cabinet and vice president of his incompetence?
I want to *contain *his stupidity as much as possible behind closed doors with just his advisers and cabinet. This kind of leak? Means it’s less likely to remain contained, imo. All it does is feed into our obsession with the spectacle. Only people who were already outraged by him are outraged by this new leaked info.

You’re giving Trump’s intellegence/compassion too much credit. He doesn’t care how the Venezuelans feel about it. We go in with our big army shoot anyone who objects take and take all their oil. The whole thing is over in 3 weeks, with a big military victory that he can crow to his base about. If a bunch of Venezuelans get killed in the process, who cares? They didn’t vote for him and are probably all MS-13 gang members anyway.

The judge in the state of New York’s fraud case against the Trump Foundation actually laughed when the defense lawyers asked to have the trial postponed till after the fall election. She also suggested that she might call Trump himself to testify. She also said that she didn’t understand why the family was fighting the cast at all and they should have settled out of court.
She also said that federal criminal charges should have been filed.
