The issue is that Mark Burnett, executive producer of the Apprentice and the only person with the legal authority to release the tapes, thinks Trump is the bee’s knees.
I’ll pick a nit with the retired general on one thing: Trump didn’t divide the nation; the millions of Americans who voted for him knowingly did so because they are willfully waging a culture war. Nobody’s making them do it; they just need a scapegoat for their local heroin epidemic or something to make themselves feel better about being middle aged with erectile dysfunction. Trump was the perfect candidate because he’s the rage candidate, a human political tracking cookie who has found out what makes them click.

She might materially contribute to bringing him down if she has either one of two types of tape:
***Proof that Trump did know in advance (in 2016) about the upcoming Wikileaks release of Democratic emails, or
***Audio of Trump expressing contempt for the non-rich people who people his rallies. Something on the lines of ‘those losers, trailer-park trash, they have no idea what I really think of them!’
The first would be useful in making Mueller’s case, and the second would be useful in getting the GOP Congress’s butts in gear to rein in Trump (assuming the Base reacted vocally enough to being ridiculed by their hero).
…but both are probably a long shot.
The hush-money tape seems pretty damning to me, but probably won’t to Trump fans; they’ll rationalize it away. It’s egregious conduct, though. Omarosa had just been fired for “integrity” issues, yet she’s being offered a salary that’s a huge multiple of what campaign workers usually command? Sleaze to the max.
That is rather unusual for people at Brennan’s level – they become high muckitimucks at Beltway Bandit outfits who attract and interface with clients while the worker bees actually process the data.

We REALLY need to make those in a smaller size, so individual folks can buy them. Yeah, you would make your self a target for trump supporters, but DC mostly did NOT vote for trump if I remember correctly.
