Used to love Aerosmith. Meh anymore. But my respect for Tyler just went up quite a bit. He might as well get in line to sue the stupid asshole.

I may be able to help with that. I’ve heard of a fundraiser they do in Lake Placid where they sell raffle tickets, and each one corresponds to a golf ball. The balls are rolled off the ski jump, the one that goes the farthest, wins.
Found a mention that they did it last year. Can’t find it on this year’s calendar, but it’s worth a try.
The crowd is always lily-white. The occasional black person is pulled out and placed behind Trump for the TV coverage.
But does Trump care? He probably didn’t really want to win this election. Now that he’s had a few years on the job, I imagine he wants it even less, except for the possibility of keeping his ass out of jail/bankruptcy.

Does it matter if he doesn’t accept it? Does he have the power to say “No! No! Keep me in!”
He comes from a privileged background, not lacking in materials for education. His parents were not really fools either, and would have desired to expose him to culture.
He may have read the picture book.

I always look for information on the venue in which these rallies are held, which for some reason reporters appear to find irrelevant. The rally before this one was held in a high school gym, for example–that should be relevant.
This one was held at the Charleston Convention Center, but I don’t know in which of their available venues—which stretch from the convention center proper (the ‘Coliseum’) down to the Little Theater and various Executive Suites.
But even if he did manage to fill the Coliseum–and they do love him around there, so maybe he did–he’s still slipping. Helsinki is still sinking in for those people. Trump’s obvious deference to Putin does not strike them as particularly glorious. He’s a second-rate bully, and they prefer first-rate ones.
I hope so, but it has to happen fast. Trump is replacing judges at an alarming rate. And the new ones are pro-authoritarian to a man. (Using ‘man’ advisedly.)
Well, I wanted something personal, but not something that would excite the ire of the Administrators. So I took the logo of my self-publishing company and twisted it so that it wouldn’t be readable. I’m just assuming that ‘advertising’ is disallowed, but that seems a safe assumption.
Anyway, the shot of color makes it easy to find my own posts if I need to look something up. I guess if someone else has an avatar that’s the same colors, I might change mine.
