The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

I’m sure massive means he got a job somehow in the last year and has $200 or so.

He got a 3.1x surcharge driving his Uber passenger 67 miles. Rolling in it!

I was thinking he found a quarter when his mom made him clean his room.

The interesting thing about FavreCo isn’t his posts, but his posting pattern. If anybody were paid to come to the SDMB as a troll, then it would be FavreCo. That being said I think FavreCo is just a garden variety troll/sock.

Trump makes 67 false claims in 5th-most-dishonest week as president

That’s less than 10 a day. The WaPo has had him at 7 per day over his entire administration and 16 a day during June and July. They have him at over 4,000 through July.

By contrast, the Star has him at “only” 2,436 over his first 484 days, or “only” 4.2 per day. The Star obviously has a more restricted definition of false claim.

Are y’all bored with the clusterfuck, or what? Will it take some kind of Super Flashy Stupid Egg laid by thump to get this thread back to punching him instead of each other? Well, not to worry–he will soon. That’s one thing we can count on him for.

Yet life goes on.

Here’s a happy thought… all unicorns and rainbows:

‘Winter is coming’: Allies fear Trump isn’t prepared for gathering legal storm

Ha! As if he would take advice from anyone, no matter who they are or how experienced in defending crooks. However, I’m still looking forward to seeing it.

Care to indicate which statements (outside of the last two sentences which are merely opinion) are incorrect and why?

Who knows maybe he’s Scott Pruitt or some other Trump swamp monster whose getting inside information about Tariffs before they’re announced publicly.

But some words have multiple meanings. You are insisting that the legal definition of treason is the only one that exists, but Ann is using the vernacular definition which is simply the act of betraying ones country. Since the straight dope message board isn’t actually a court of law she is perfectly justified in doing so.

Take it from someone who has long inhabited FavreCo’s primary board – he is every bit the asshole he appears to be here. And I fear this Chip Dundas dipshit is another member of that same board with a large festering resentment over liberals making him feel small and stupid.

This feckless goober doesn’t need Liberals to do that. He’s doing it just fine by himself.

It’s no surprise that they’re NAMBLA members, but what were you doing there?

You successfully called someone an asshole, a dipshit and stupid all in one post. A quality pit poster.

Trump is now stripping citizenship from people who where born via midwife close to the border. When will it end?

Had this one been done yet?

Inspector General for the Government Services Administration says Turmp was personally involved with keeping the FBI headquarters building right where it was: across the street from his hotel. Oh, and everyone else was told to say he wasn’t.

It says in your link that the decision had already been made, but that they may have lied about whether or not there was a discussion with Trump (after the decision had already been made). I.e., he would probably have tried to get them to keep it where it was, corruptly, except that they already had decided to do so anyways.

Has he demanded to see their long forms yet?

Actually, that’s pretty damn tame. Hardly qualifies as a pit post at all. You want a a classic pit post, try Cervaise’s scathing harangue on telemarketers. Or Sampiro’s thread about the fury his mother and sister roused in him.

Meantime, someone in the Trump administration saw fit to respond to an FOIA request on a Democratic candidate in Virginia by immediately releasing her unredacted SF-86 to Paul Ryan’s Super-PAC. Said PAC is apparently shopping the information around. Never mind that it is vanishingly rare to release the SF-86, doing so unredacted means that things like her SSN are now available to the public.

Meantime, her campaign filed an FOIA last December for her own employment records, which they still have not received. The FOIA filed by the Republicans was responded to within 3 weeks.

I doubt this is happenstance.

Seems unlikely.

Maybe something got lost in translation, but I was saying that Trumps performance in Helsinki was NOT treason.
My point was that the fact that “it wasn’t technically an act of treason” is a really low bar to set when it comes to excusing the behavior of the POTUS. We have the right to expect moral integrity.
