The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

100% of the African delegates to an annual US-Africa economic conference were denied visas.

HHS Secretary Tom Price thinks it should be up to the states whether or not people should be immunized.

I didn’t realize epidemics stopped at state boundaries.

Breaking up the banks was a Sanders plank? Do you have a better example of radical liberal thought in the election? I don’t see it. Anything like that never had a sniff at winning. donald won.

There is a difference between Susan Sarandon thinking things need to be shaken up and trump voters thinking things should be shaken up. She wanted trump to illustrate how bad things were. They want trump, so what if he’s bad.

I disagree with you about those deserving of representation: Everyone does, including the KKK, and the 3 million voters who voted for hillary and lost the electoral contest, did you forget them? Everyone is entitled, but of late we are not getting it, whereas donald’s voters are getting plenty of representation at the moment. Sorry make that: they are getting what they asked for.

White House installs political aides at Cabinet agencies to be Trump’s eyes and ears.

Alles klar,Herr Kommissar?.

While I’m happy that his already poor approval ratings are falling again, it still concerns me that 37 out of 100 people in this country actually do approve of this administration.

According to a tweet by Kurt Eichenwald, Nixon’s approval rating was 28%…a few weeks before he resigned.

Nixon had enough sense to resign.

Unfortunately a disproportionate number of Congress people are among that 37%.

For now.

So besides his weekly vacation trips, now we have to pay to boost his ego.
Trump escapes the Beltway as challenges mount

And not a peep from those who piled on Obama for taking a few vacations.

He should be paying for this out of campaign funds. He’ll do this as long as he’s allowed, every two weeks.

He’s done “far more” than any other President in the first 50 days? Obama got the ARRA through in less than 30 days. Sure, you can debate the merits of that legislation, but it was introduced on 1/26/2009 and signed on 2/17/2009. The Trump administration can barely get out an executive order. And aren’t we still waiting on the long promised strategy to defeat ISIS?

The constant boasting is so transparent and so needless. It just boggles the mind.

I’m sure at least some of those 37% are the authoritarian types.

My father doesn’t like Trump, but he’s one of those people who believe in absolute authority. I complain about my boss doing something straight out unethical and possibly illegal - my father snaps “He’s your boss and he can do what he wants!” My sisters are sitting there - one a VP and one a Manager - shaking their heads ‘no’ wide-eyed at my father’s bullshit. One of them says 'I’d be fired and maybe sued if I did that!" Nope, father insists that because he’s my boss, he can do whatever the fuck he wants and I’d better snap to it.

So they’re sitting there going “Yup, he’s the President and he can do what he wants”.

And of course, since they’re such loyal puppies, when they get kicked, they think they deserved it.

Then of course, there’s the purely partisan hacks, who will cheer on anyone with any position as long as he’s their guy. Trump could tell them that we’re going to invade North Korea and there may be some American cities nuked as a consequence, and we may end up at war with China, and these morons would go “FUCK YEAH! GAME ON!”

I don’t trust the fucker.

Yeah, but Obama did that with the ‘help’ of Congress. Trump’s travel ban, uncovering the secret wiretapping conspiracy, and renegotiating a refugee deal with Australian PM Turnball was done all on his own, using his personal charm, charisma, and business savvy. Therefore, he gets all the credit. Unless it doesn’t work out, in which case he’s going to blame you personally, Bayard.

Stranger

Nah, I work peripherally in the auto industry. I’ll probably get the blame when all those manufacturing jobs don’t come flooding back to Michigan.

You’re just not giving him a chance! I’m sure he’ll pivot any day now.

Who’s going to stop him? Seriously. He can do Whatever. He. Wants. And he will.

Did you say *pivot *or divot?

As far as I can tell: if you don’t count undoing the work of his predecessor (and I don’t – a flatworm could be trained to issue an Executive Order un-doing something)…he’s done jack shit. A failed Muslim ban is all he has to show.

Oh, right…he nominated a SCOTUS judge…which he should never have had the opportunity to do.

When he goes to the Southern Whitetrash House does his entourage all take rooms at the going rate, or do they get a break. I’m sure the Secret Service aren’t sleeping in their cars.
