The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

Turmp has no allies. There are those whom he can use and abuse while they grovel, praise and fellate him before he discards them. Other than those people, all are his enemies to be ruined.

FOX is reporting that “Right now, Kavanaugh does not have the votes.”
www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/kavanaugh-is-short-of-votes-but-fate-hinges-on-upcoming-testimony/ar-AAABvhq

On the side, does anyone think it is strange that the article draws a parallel between this and the black Senator who refused to support a racist nominee? I guess rejecting rapists (if it is true) is just a fringe minority opinion within the GOP.

Until a Republican Senator actually says they’re voting against Kavanaugh, they are voting for him, whatever FOX says. Right now Kavanaugh absolutely has 51 votes, and there is no sign whatsoever any GOP Senator will vote against him. The sort of hemming and hawing from the likes of Collins and Corker is transparent bullshit, and they’re waiting for Kavanaugh to deny it all under oath before saying “well, the accusations have been dealt with and he’s obviously a trustworthy guy.”

Indeed, it is not impossible he could get a vote or two from Democrats looking to appease the Trumpist hordes in red states.

Two thoughts regarding this.

  1. It’s not all that exceptional, given that this is understood in just about every other Liberal Democracy.
  2. Did he check with Trump before saying something so contrary to the beliefs of the administration?

“I tale time from my absolutely terrific and wonderful presidency, which I won by an overwhelming Electoral College landslide, to speak to you on this occasion. A funeral such as this is…”

The four tiers of the universe in Trump’s view:

Tier 1 - Donald Trump: the only thing in the universe that matters.

Tier 2 - Things that are useful to Donald Trump: use them.

Tier 3 - Things that are not useful to Donald Trump: ignore them.

Tier 4 - Things that are bad for Donald Trump: whine about them.

There’s no distinction between people and non-people. Trump views his children the same way he views rocks: “What can this thing do for me?”

Trump defended Kavanaugh by saying “He’s never had any charges like this.” He then commented on the other charges like this that have been made against Kavanaugh.

Trump said Kavanaugh’s accuser was drunk at the time of the incident. Which apparently disproves the accusations that Kavanaugh preys on women when they’re drunk.

No, it just means it was her fault it happened because she was drunk and led him on.

If she had a drink or wore makeup or didn’t mace him or wore clothing or wasn’t already claimed by some grunting caveman, then clearly any red blooded American man’s man can be excused for acting like a kid in a candy store when offered a ‘treat’.

Are we all so obtuse we don’t see that? Trump and the mildewed toilet scum supporting him obviously can.

I am waiting for him to brag that his way is better - an NDA, a check and all the problems go away.

Orrin “bullcrap” Hatch weighs in:

Ah, finally, someone has the courage to step forward and settle a factual question on a because-i-said-so basis.

“Tax cuts will pay for themselves!” - Steve Mnuchin
“AGW is a hoax!” -Donald Trump

We gain insight into the partisan divide. The GOP is the party of the appeal to authority fallacy, while Democrats prefer facts and reasons.

Trump made a speech at the UN, bragging about his accomplishments, and the gathered international leaders laughed at him.

The funny thing (the other funny thing) is that he explicitly ran on the promise that foreign leaders won’t be laughing at us any more.

Not sad, but the grearest: the greatest embarrassment.

Tim Kaine noticed it.

I don’t think Donald likes being laughed at ( he did not take kindly to it at that Obama White House Correspondents Dinner…). We can probably expect some tweets about how we need to bomb the UN.

Thump’s cognitive dissonance will permit him to interpret this as, “The UN people were laughing WITH me at those loser Democrats and everyone else who opposes me.” He has to be right. He has to be on top. Nothing else can get through his filters.

Yes.

It’s already been mentioned a few times recently here, but I’d like to repeat it. Trump claims in front of the U.N. that his administration has so far accomplished more than almost any other administration.
The U.N., which isn’t populated with Faux News dipshits, fucking laughs at him.
Whatta guy you got there, Republicans! He does you proud!

Trump is claiming the people at the UN were laughing at a joke he made.
I can’t find a link now, though.

More like the joke his parents made.
