Ayers is Mike Pence’s CoS. He is the board secretary of Leading the Way, a Georgia-based organization whose goal is to convert Muslims to Christianity.

I’m reasonably sure that John Kelly is the only thing that kept Trump’s approval rating from continuing its decline towards the low-30s. Whether the two are talking or not, Kelly was still serving a strong roll blocking stupid shit from getting to Trump, even if he had limited control of stupid shit coming from Trump.
Unless Ayers has the magic of Trump-whispering, I would expect that we’ll start to see a new output of idiocy that matches what we saw in the first six months of Trump’s presidency, and Ayers will learn to appreciate true fear.
I’m curious what John Bolton’s strategy is. I assume he just avoids Trump and does his own thing.

The term has only recently come to have violent connotations, because of a tiny number of extremists who have acted violently. It was originally coined by a Canadian lesbian woman in the 1990s, and it wasn’t misogynistic. It merely denoted people who wanted to be in a sexual relationship, but couldn’t find a partner. To distinguish myself from the extremists, I think I’m going to start calling myself a Peaceful Incel.
I realize this is a quixotic effort on my part, and most likely futile. Similar to the struggle of moderate Republicans. But it’s worth a try to “take back” a useful label.
The term was popularized by deeply misogynistic, self-loathing 4chan trolls to describe a form of biological essentialism which quickly morphed into a community which, as Contrapoints would put it, “churns out violent terrorists more often than Disney puts out Avengers movies.” The term has only ever been in the mainstream consciousness in the context where “incels” referred to this group of people who badly need psychiatrists and close watch by the FBI. It is not a term worth reclaiming, any more than Archer should try to “reclaim” the term ISIS.
If you badly need a term to describe yourself, try “adult virgin”; most people will (correctly) assume that this is unintentional.
I’m not a virgin though, so that doesn’t quite work.

Okay, I’ll stop trying to give you advice. But you really don’t want to identify with incels.
Any community related to men who find relationships difficult or frustrating seems to get a bad rep in short order.
It’s interesting why that happens…I think a small minority of such men get bitter about it, and end up tainting the whole group.

That’s almost certainly some of it. Then, the people who would prefer not to associate with that leave, you get evaporative cooling of group beliefs, and those who remain radicalize.
That being said, the core ideology of the online incel movement is fundamentally toxic. It’s suicide fuel for the desperate and lonely. “You are alone because of your biology, and because your biology is immutable, you will always be alone and undesirable.” It’s nuts, obviously, but combine that with an unhealthy overdose of misogyny and self-hatred, and it’s no surprise that they’re producing violent terrorists at an astonishing rate.
