I actually was almost gaslit by the lack of coverage, questioning whether or not I’d somehow missed that this was already a known thing. All I ever saw was an AMA on Reddit by the Wapo reporter who took him down.
The top question should have been: Why isn’t this the top news story on Wapo?
This is what happens when an Orange-a-tan is elected to be a leader of a country. He is a buffoon, a clear and present danger. This latest just shows how disconnected he is from reality, other than his own.

Trump is playing kids games at Chuck E Cheese while Putin is playing Master Chess.
As a life-long “conservative/GOP” believer. I am disgusted with their behavior for the last few decades. So much so that I voted for (D) in the mid terms, and will do so if this keeps up.

The Partay appears to be making moves to protect CFSG from a primary challenge. NH Partay leaders want to amend bylaws to make their nomination an internal org vote, while the SC Rs are considering canceling the primary altogether.
Meanwhile, Democrats are saying “oh pleeze oh pleeze…do everything you can to make sure Trump is on the ballot.” It would be a Democrat dream to run against the Unindicted Co-Conspirator.
Maybe Trump should be locked up in a prison with a golf course. His extra punishment could be that he’s not allowed to use a golf cart and all his scores must be accurately reported in the news.
I disagree with this portion of your otherwise very good analysis. I think Russia’s primary goal in Syria continues to be to put down the rebellion and the Kurds so as to keep their puppet Al-Assad in power, and keep their naval base in Tartus intact.
