Unnamed Trump “advisers” (whoever they are) want him to stop Giuliani from doing interviews while drunk.
Your link has an extra http:// in it. I’ve taken the liberty of fixing it, above.
Trump demands all his lawyers be on the same Adderall he’s on.
I mean, if anyone knows about making due with less, it’s Wilbur Ross. The man is worth only $700 million in a cabinet full of billionaires. These sad sack federal workers should really listen to what he has to say. Maybe he could start a blog for them.
{Tip o’ the hat}
Maybe if he learned to budget and save …
Hm. I just read this morning that he’s worth $1.9 billion. He’s also on the board of the Bank of Cyprus, which launders Putin money.
Forbes thinks he’s worth a mere 700 million, as reported by Happy. And he’s probably been lying about his net worth for quite some time:
Bloomberg says 860 million.
Apparently Ross went to the Trump School of Accounting.
ETA: Ninja’d by thatmuch!
He should take out a loan at the bank.
Turpitude, turpentine, either way, impeach the motherfucker.
I assume that he is actually a position to make money off of people taking out loans, so it’s only sensible that he would be advertising for them.
Where can someone with little credit history get a loan on short notice? Not at a standard bank with prime +1 interest rates and low origination fees, that’s for sure.
He wants them to go to the predatory, err, I mean payday lenders, who, with high origination and renewal fees will ensnare these people in a perpetual cycle of debt.
Or maybe he figures they can just go to the Bank of Cyprus, and get a couple million dollar 0 interest loan, to be paid back never. They just have to say they are friends of Putin.
No one knows about that: the expression is “making do”.
Larry Kudlow, I-1’s financial advisor, said today that federal workers are “volunteering” to come to work without pay. When challenged by a reporter, he said, it’s because they respect the President.
The US Secretary of Commerce - Commerce - doesn’t understand the multiplier effect.
A new candidate for an acting something in the Trump “administration”. (Reuters)
Maybe he can take Mick Mulvaney’s place and become the acting acting chief of staff.
Are the Cabinet Chair Moisteners getting paid during the shutdown? Hard to imagine them being essential to anything.
AT this point in his term, Reagan was also dealing with the fallout of a deliberately induced recession (designed by Carter appointee Volker to end the high inflation of the 70’s).
The economy would Come back in Reagan’s term and he also had the Grenada Invasion to boost his popularity.
Trump inherited a good economy and hasn’t managed to destroy it yet, but still his ratings are in the toilet and he keeps flushing.
That speaks volumes about him.
My fear is he is going to thinks he needs a Grenada to make him popular.
He and Bolton are talking tough about Venezuela.
I-1 thinks furloughed workers should be able to go to their local supermarket and ask them for free food.
Oh, yes, the old “work along.” You ask them to “work along” and they work along. It’s commerce! There’s no reason to think people are in trouble right now!
