The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

Hilarious:

uuuuuuh Devin…um…the matter they’ll be looking into will not be your retarded spin, from above, but:

Nice try, though, you useless fucking eel.

I should hope so. The clown disclosed classified information.

Bannon is out, but Rick Perry is in. Clearly the reason is that Bannonis irredeemably ugly. Even an improved haircut and a good suit didn’t help.

Rick Perry, however, has that Marlboro man look-- great hair, a good smile, and he will look really classy in those photos of the group around the conference table. Let’s remember what Trump’s priorities are, after all.
“The charges are entirely false and politically motivated, and are being leveled just as the American people are beginning to learn the truth about the improper unmaking of the identities of U.S. citizens and other abuses of power.”
This is the political equivalent of a cheating husband saying the problem isn’t that he spend $3000 on call girls, it’s that his wife found the escort service business card in his pants pocket.

You stole my post. This is exactly the thoughts that ran through my head when I heard him say that.

I’d love for some reporter to get in his face and on the record ask him, if by allowing them entry into the United States as refugees, he could have saved those children from the horrible deaths that so moved him when he saw them on television would he have done so.

Yes Mr. president, those children are exactly the people your refugee ban is targeted against.

Nonsense. Trump cares not a whit for the victims of a Syrian gas attack. If he could make money off it he’d be doing it himself.

He made those vague statements because he thought it’d make him look good.

Il Douche does not do “vague”, his statements are explicit and starkly clear! The niggling detail of being in direct contradiction to his previous statements does not change that. Repent!

Maybe somehow convince him that, if making those remarks makes him look good, actually saving the lives of those children would make him look even better.

Excellent point.

We know that the gas attack was in response to Tillerson saying Assad could stay. I wonder if the Bannon shakeup is connected to that.

I am offended by the gas attack pivot too, but for a different reason. Yes, this is nothing new. But why is this administration, and the GOP in general, only capable of outrage over events in the Middle East? Why isn’t Trump outraged about all the unarmed black men gunned down by the police? Why isn’t he outraged by the 30,000 gun deaths per year in THIS COUNTRY? What about the evil callousness of Ryan’s plan to drop 24 million Americans from health insurance for the sake of a tax cut for the wealthy? Because I guarantee sending in ground troops over 100 dead foreigners will cost far more than simply taking care of our own people, for only a tiny fraction of the benefit.

Like every GOP politician, the priority is: Get those troops into the Middle East, not No Matter What! Waste enough trillions of dollars on that hopeless quagmire and maybe someday the country will be brought to its knees economically, and we’ll have NO CHOICE but to eliminate Social Security and Medicare! Every Republican is exactly the same: evil towards the public in the service of the ultra wealthy. And every GOP voter is an ignorant fucking rube

While there are many republican voters who do not understand the consequences of their actions and of the repercussions of their vote, there are other republicans who are very aware of, and are quite happy with the results.

Can’t take the risk of pissing off the NRA.

You are probably right. What is the breakdown? 90% rubes? 95%?

I said to my husband just the other night: “I am enjoying this presidency so much more than I thought I would.” It’s true. I am. It’s like watching clowns at a circus, bumbling around and unable to empty water from a boot without instructions on the heel. The health care bill: priceless.

It probably helps that I was trained as a historian, so I find a certain level of fascination with all of the political theater, as you say.

It also helps that I am fairly certain he will be impeached over the Russia thing. “Treason folks. I am the best at treason. No one can do treason better than me.”

On the off chance that doesn’t work out, we do all we can to keep the pressure on him and Congress. FFS, we haven’t hit 100 days yet and they can’t pass a bill with a majority in the House and the Senate. By the mid-terms, the Republicans are going to be facing some serious problems.

“It’s like watching a bunch of retards trying to hump a doorknob.”

99% rubes.

Leaves the One Percent.

My friend Irish Storyteller is the same way for the same reason. He’s been rereading the Federalist Papers and other founding documents and finding all the ways the Constitution is going to curbstomp the Great Circus Peanut.

You hired a clown, you got a circus, why are you surprised?

Hey, I voted for Public Policy Nerd Lady, not the Human-Chinchilla-Troll Hybrid and his Mery Band of Post-Apocalyptic Fundamisfits. At this point, having an actual clown as President accompanied by Barnum and Bailey’s Circus would be an improvement, and would also have had a better showing at the inauguration.
