If you notice the pattern, it’s going after the vulnerable minorities first. They don’t go after African Americans or Jews - not yet. Sure they’ll wink and nod at police brutality, and they’ll say “Some very fine people” were chanting “Jews will not replace us,” but they save their terror for brown migrants coming into the country and brown Muslims at home and abroad. That’s the bone they’re throwing to the racists for the time being.
They haven’t gone after gays or gay marriage - not yet. They’ll just dehumanize the transgendered and treat them like subhuman animals. They haven’t tried to roll back women’s rights. They’re just going after the evil slutty whores who stand up for abortion rights and the right not to be treated like a sex toy in the workplace. That’s the bone they’re throwing to religious nuts.
