The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

He also makes a big point that the constitution specifies “high crimes AND misdemeanors,” so that if he was only guilty of a high crime or only guilty of a misdemeanors he’d be scot free. even though its pretty obvious from the phrasing that the sentence was meant to be a list of things any of which could justify impeachment.

And apparently a lot of his brain space is now taken up with The Spectre of Impeachment. He’s no longer just braying TOTAL EXONERATION…he’s feeling the walls closing in. Which means he’ll be even more off the rails than usual.

Jeepers, Trumps has something like two dozen lawyers working for him full-time, including the Attorney Fucking General of the United States. Don’t any of them ever even attempt to explain this shit to him?

(Future supreme court ruling)

"We hereby rule that Congress may not impeach President Trump. We will not allow it, because the work “impeach is a dirty word. It’s a dirty, filthy, disgusting word. So it is not allowed.”

Signed, Justice Kavanaugh.

They couldn’t get it on a single PowerPoint slide when using a 32-point font, and he likes things bigly, you know.

Well, using the Mitch McConnell doctrine of impeachable offenses, that Trump tampered with witnesses, obstructed justice, and lied to the American public, would 100% quality for impeachment.

For the second time in 2 months, a man has set himself on fire outside 1600, near the Ellipse. Arnav Gupta died in a hospital later last night.

As I recall, people setting themselves on fire in Tunis some years ago led to widespread political effects involving “spring”.

I’m surprised he survived the first time.

Too soon?

Why would the best brain be bothered to listen to the lessons of lesser brains?

Trump has great scientific instincts about law.

The city of Sunland Park, New Mexico has issued a cease and desist order to prevent Brian Kolfage from building yet again another wall, this time in their jurisdiction.
Private border wall builders told to 'cease and desist' | CNN?

I wondered about the legality of the whole GoFundMe approach to wall building. Sure, it’s private property…but by building a wall on the border that runs through your property, aren’t you then implementing your own private border policy? That can’t be legal.

Anybody else notice who the attorney for this group is? None other than Kris Kobach, who was last seen losing the Kansas gubernatorial election last November. Based on his recent track record, the legality of this venture is dubious at best.

Trump morons never give a single shit about whether their actions are legal or not. Breaking the law is one of the most dependable ways they have to make themselves feel smart. Heh-heh, droool, I outsmarted the law. I’m smarter’n it.

Sure you can.

The legal problem this group ran into is more to do with fairly typical local ordinances.

One is that the city only allows walls up to 6ft, and they never got permission from anybody for more than that. And that’s typical of a lot of municipalities. I can’t just build a 30 ft wall separating me from my neighbors, much less a border with a foreign country, even if I build it on my property.

Another is that they never got construction permits, which is always a big no-no.

Sorry, you forgot “and is a Democrat”. It’s right there in the constitution, believe me.

Yes. Every ten minutes or so. As hard as it is to believe, it doesn’t seem to stick.

Trump sweetheart and all around good guy Kim Jong Un has executed Kim Hyok Chol, North Korean special envoy to the United States, along with four foreign ministry officials who carried out working-level negotiations for the second U.S.-North Korea summit in February, holding them responsible for its collapse. Kim Hyok Chol was Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s counterpart in direct negotiations.

Not content to start a trade war with our biggest trading partner, we are now starting onewith our third biggest. So, in short, we are going to tax American consumers until such time as Mexico takes responsibility for our border security.
