The Bizarro-World Big Lie Projection Narrative they’re pursuing goes like this: Hillary and Co. colluded with Ukrainian officials to dig up/fabricate the infamous “Black Ledger” that showed Manafort receiving $12M+ to spin PR and peddle influence for the Ukrainian President/Gov’t … which was of course the smoking gun in many of Manafort’s criminal charges relating to tax evasion. It’s “No Collusion – THEY’RE the Colluders!” all over again. Because if Hillary dug up the documents that started the Feds looking at Manafort’s undeclared income, then his conviction was … somehow … un … fair? I guess?
But anyway, that’s the narrative Rudy has been trying to sell for the past 6 or 7 months, IIRC. Working from memory here, so don’t quote me on specifics, but I’m confident enough in the broad strokes to type it out, here.

We should start a GoFundMe to raise $5M to GIVE to the whistleblower along with a balloon and a nice Hallmark card (I’m sure they have one for this). Maybe throw in a Starbucks gift card and a membership in the Martha Stewart wine-of-the-month club.
It must be hell in the White House. Imagine the paranoia and suspicion during the Mueller probe. Now cube it. Donald surely sees a potential informer behind every face. You know this is in his head every waking moment. All this in vain- extorting an ally to get long-debunked dirt on a rival who may not even get the nomination. He’s getting to be quite the Shakespearean tragic figure.
Sure would be a good time to let everyone have a time out. Let everyone collect themselves, strategize, spin and downplay. Also, to let the fence sitting Americans move on to other things. I heard that congress was taking the next month off. Perfect timing. :mad:
