The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

In a normal universe, this would be a borderline incitement of violence or solicitation or murder, but then again…Bill Barr’s the AG, so all bets are off.

Aha! The Whistleblower’s name is Alfredo Garcia!

Anyone who wants to take them up on that offer had better insist on cash up front.

Last I looked, Manafort was convicted of bank fraud.

Or Louis XVI

The Bizarro-World Big Lie Projection Narrative they’re pursuing goes like this: Hillary and Co. colluded with Ukrainian officials to dig up/fabricate the infamous “Black Ledger” that showed Manafort receiving $12M+ to spin PR and peddle influence for the Ukrainian President/Gov’t … which was of course the smoking gun in many of Manafort’s criminal charges relating to tax evasion. It’s “No Collusion – THEY’RE the Colluders!” all over again. Because if Hillary dug up the documents that started the Feds looking at Manafort’s undeclared income, then his conviction was … somehow … un … fair? I guess?

But anyway, that’s the narrative Rudy has been trying to sell for the past 6 or 7 months, IIRC. Working from memory here, so don’t quote me on specifics, but I’m confident enough in the broad strokes to type it out, here.

Trump hints that the whistleblower should get the death penalty, like the Rosenbergs in the 1950s.

Point of order! Trump wants to execute those who gave the whistleblower information. Presumably, death is too good for the actual whistleblower.

I am SO SICK of living in interesting times.

I was thinking Raul Julia as M. Bison

Hey, I found a couple of the links I’d read in the past coupla days:

Trump, Giuliani, and Manafort: The Ukraine Scheme Murray Waas, NYR Daily 25 SEP 2019

Rudy Giuliani accused me of exposing Paul Manafort’s Ukraine deals to help U.S. Democrats. That’s a lie. Serhiy Leshchenko, The Washington Post (Opinion) 21 SEP 2019

We should start a GoFundMe to raise $5M to GIVE to the whistleblower along with a balloon and a nice Hallmark card (I’m sure they have one for this). Maybe throw in a Starbucks gift card and a membership in the Martha Stewart wine-of-the-month club.

Wow. That site had so much video/pop-up/let us send you notifications crap I couldn’t read the article.

Might be time to update my adblocker.

Here’s another link to that story, titled Washington’s Biggest Idiots Offer 50K Reward

On a lighter note, here’s a comedy article which could plausibly true in this day and age;

Major Security Crisis: The Rooster That’s Loose In The White House Is No Longer Afraid Of The Jack-O’-Lantern President Trump Put Outside The Oval Office To Scare It Away

Next week’s New Yorker cover. Perfect summation. Love the toothpick in Ghouliani’s mouth.

It must be hell in the White House. Imagine the paranoia and suspicion during the Mueller probe. Now cube it. Donald surely sees a potential informer behind every face. You know this is in his head every waking moment. All this in vain- extorting an ally to get long-debunked dirt on a rival who may not even get the nomination. He’s getting to be quite the Shakespearean tragic figure.

“The duo have a sketchy record” from the article linked by Rick Kitchen.

That’s putting it mildly, 007.

Only if he’s the villain in the tragedy. And even they often had a trace of nobility in them first. He’s never had any.

Sure would be a good time to let everyone have a time out. Let everyone collect themselves, strategize, spin and downplay. Also, to let the fence sitting Americans move on to other things. I heard that congress was taking the next month off. Perfect timing.

The Splinternews article describes them as the Laurel and Hardy of conservative grifters

Richard III, vile as he was, at least had cunning. Trump is a fucking moron. He’s more of Conspiracy of Dunces tragic figure.
