The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

It will be a big pile of (so-called) burgers from Mickey D’s. And several Happy Meals (with toys) for FPT*.

This one really gets me. (Reuters)

Nice we find out about it through FSB, too.

…which they could all do somewhere else in a [del]No Homers[/del] G6 meeting, held at the same time. It’d be a massive snub to Trump and the US but frankly it’s not like Trump has been terribly polite to any of the other G7 leaders previously. And they might like to be able to have a grown-up conversation without Trump or his handbag-designer daughter in the room.

So we’re outsourcing our henhouse security protocols to the foxes. Good to know.

If y’all recall, Trump floated this idea right after the secret, 90-minute Helsinki meeting with Putin.

Sure. I just didn’t think we’d actually, you know, do it.

My recollection is that there was a lot of push-back at the time. Yesterday, this news passed with virtually no notice. Maddow made mention as did Reuters. I didn’t see/hear about it anywhere else.

My representatives will be hearing from me today about this.

Don’t you mean “so-called berders”?

I mean, the self dealing at his stupid golf course is just a test right? If they let me get away with this, then they’ll let me get away with anything.

The reporting was good but isn’t current. Things were a clusterfuck with nobody wanting to make decisions, but they’ve settled down. Ricky P has largely let the agencies do their thing. Yes, OMB proposed dumb budgets but Congress told them to piss off.

My impression of Rick Perry is that he’s the rare Republican who’s aware of his own limitations.

So many of them that they will be able to construct a “so-called berder wall”.

His presidential bid suggests that you are mistaken. (Of course, so would an attempt to tie his own shoes, in my opinion.)

The most Rick has going for him is good hair. Probably the main reason FPT* is done with him.

The central pillar of Trump’s 2020 campaign strategy has been debunked.

Maggie Haberman, NYT:

Never again will we hear Donald Trump complaining about Hillary’s emails. Nope, never.

Why WOULDN’T foreign leaders want to stay at Trump properties (aside from bedbugs and other health code violations)? It’s a relatively cheap way to get whatever you want from the fucking moron. And think of all the time and diplomacy it saves you. No wrangling, no concessions. Just give the American president some graft in the form of hotel rooms and meals (which you were going to have to pay for ANYWAY) and you get WHATEVER you want.

You don’t even have to stay in them.

Bedbugs. Funny smells. Dirty toilets, possibly with turds left by earlier guests. Funky sheets. Really bad food…dysentery.

But it is “far and away” the best place for the summit. I looked it up on Best Hotels. It’s rated number 5 in Miami. Ok so it’s not crappy like some of his other places. But it is still number 5 in Miami. My brother tells me that June is a very slow month in Miami resorts, I don’t know why June would be slow. Maybe because people go to Miami in the winter? But anyway if that is true it’s goint to make a big difference financially.

There will also be months and months of advance teams, from all the countries, who will need to stay prior to the event.

In addition, Rick Wilson (iirc) speculated that in addition to the above, two helipads will be needed to be built. Then taken down. Then the land placed back in the original condition.

Wilson said that the only place open enough for helipads was the golf course. And that restoring the golf course means, at the end of all this grift, Trump will end up with a brand new course completely at taxpayers expense.

A few days ago I was reading the online comments to a Trump story, and some MAGAt said how he was looking forward to Friday and the release of the real true story.

Life’s full if disappointments, isn’t it.
